Might as well put next years draft lottery on your calendar if that's the best we can do. - feetontheair22
Could not agree more! I might TRY Kahun at 3c. But mojo clearly plays better on the wing. It’s obvious!
A seasoned acceptable 2c is not in this organization. And hasn’t been since ROR.
Mitts hasn’t shown poop. And if is counted on for a 3rd year at 2c put a fork in the season now.
If Cozens is counted on as a 2c as a rookie. Put a fork in the season now.
And if mojo is your answer to the position again, well. Fork. See turkey!
Enough is enough. It’s year 3 of not having an acceptable 2c. Fix it or GTFO! |

I understand and you are probably right, but he would be one of my targets. Jack and Dahlin are the only one's I wouldn’t give up. He would be a true 2C that could give you 70 to 80 pts a year with Skinner. It's a dream scenario but I would make that call. - Buff36
I think I would trade all three of the things I mentioned for Larkin as well, but I think there is zero chance the Red Wings would do that.
He's the face of their franchise right now. |

Potty training isn’t going so well.
Botts has been instructed to sit as to not piss on the floor. |

Very true 39, and I agree, but I would still make the call. And Strome would be my 2nd choice. But I would swing for the fences with Larkin first, they can only hang up the phone, no harm in trying. Everyone wants a big move, well that would be one. |

I believe the most 'realistic' of the big moves as far as acquiring a center are concerned, would be Sean Monahan from the Flames. |

are they both still top 20 centers in the NHL |

ask for larkin and accept fillpula or whatever his name is.. thats a botts move |

pretty sure tampa will not trade them - homiedclown
so why does everyone here waste time and energy dreaming about something like that while posting trade propositions? |
|
|

Who else you got?
Are you willing to trade Reinhart in a package for somebody like Sean Monahan, who himself as warts in his game?
The quote unquote ideal targets, like Cirelli, Point, or even under the radar guys like Roope Hintz, are almost certainly not happening without a huge overpayment. - kingcong39

I’ve heard through the grapevine that their(the person I spoke to) feeling through conversations is Botts would entertain moving Sam.
That is not saying he is shopping him. |

Rossi-Eichel-Reinhart
Skinner-Hintz-Cozens
Olofsson-Mojo-Kahun
Asplund-Larsson-Okposo
Mittelstadt, Thompson, 2021 1st for Hintz.
Rossi falls to 7 or 8 due to height concerns. I start him on the wing to get NHL experience and seeing what he could do with Eichel would be a lot of fun.
Dream big. |

This wouldn't surprise me. He's got to make some serious noise this offseason somehow...other than farting after leaving the nacho bar. |

For all the flack they took (and I gave a lot of it...to Roy especially), they were both very solid players. Neither of them were capable of being that #1 center, though. Put either of them, doesn't matter which, in their primes behind Eichel now, and you definitely have one of the better center tandems in the league. |

I think we have that with Cozens. But we need someone to can play that role now till he is ready. |

That doesn't come close for Hintz. Granted, the new coaching staff had some head scratching usage for him, but if they move him i assume it's for someone that can step in right away. |

Derek Roy pre injury would be an extremely solid #2 center right about now. Also a Jochen Hecht or two. |

TC before he forgot where he was was very talented at dishing the puck.. we need a kotalik on this team though, not a TC |
