there were too many unknowns early on not to do something like that...even now when the threat is less, it's still highly transmissible, one person can spread it to many and the death rate is still hovering around 1,000/day in the U.S...and as far as anyone knows, it's not going away anytime soon

Sure he was blackballed and I agree. But at the end of the day if he was a superstar or at least a legit starting QB he would not have been. No reason to take on a headache for a backup QB. He had his reasons for doing what he did but he made the choice. The constitution allows him to do it. But it doesn’t allow him to be void of the consequences

Maybe. But it ain’t worth it for a player who sees 5 snaps a season unless your starter goes down. And let’s be honest if your starter goes down and he comes in your season is over. Not worth it.
