Bernie was the second leading delegate candidate. The others bowed out because they were not winning states and getting the support (votes) Even on Super Tuesday Bernie won a state.

Perhaps those other candidates would of been in race still if Dems voted for them instead. Maybe they were racist and misogynists and refused to vote for minorities and women?

This is a pretty ridiculous narrative
Who elected Obama twice, Republicans?
Who ran Hilary as their candidate?

Basically you trade hutton for a 5th

Trade the same 5th to the rangers for lundquist

Sign lundquist to Hutton's salary for next year.

Is this a serious upgrade , this year it could have been the difference of 22nd place instead of 25 th

- Boss34

I looked it up, Hank has 1 more year at 8.5mil
So tell your friend he’s nuts to want him
Even if NyR kept half his salary,
I still wouldn’t want him at 4.25mil

Now in some fantasy scenario where we could pay him the same as Hutton...
then yeah, I’d take Hank
But that can’t happen

....If u can separate good cops from bad cops,
then surely u have the mental capacity to separate looters from protesters

- jdfitz77

But, can the Corona virus tell the difference between a protestor and a looter?
You're skirting the question you don't want to answer by deflecting with a condescending reply. (You ignored it yesterday, too.) You were among those who were pretty judgemental of "covidiots" going out "too soon" to beaches or wherever w/out social distancing. But you have no qualms about it if it's to gather shoulder to shoulder in order to protest?
That was the question. Maybe the third time is the charm and you'll actually address it this time.

Of course it’s a problem. All the protestors are taking risks that they’ll spread the disease. Seems to me it’s a regularaly featured aspect of the coverage.

However, even asking the question is a deflection itself, as it has no direct relevance to the problem that led to the protests.

Again you are wrong. Just go on facebook. Hundreds of people who never said a peep about racial injustice now blacking out their profile photo talking about how they won’t be silent anymore and care now. It’s laughable. Where were they the rest of their lives???

Do you still not care that you ooze bullpoop even when confronted with facts that prove otherwise?

you're a disgrace.

I can admit when I'm wrong, you just double down your proven false rhetoric.

grow up.

I think we after 3 years should be at the point where people need to take a hard look at themselves, take a big step back and just have admission that they have been fed borderline dangerous information. Look at what people have been fed just in the last 4 months. I couldn’t go to my in laws without hearing every talking point from CNN and all I wanted to do is say haven’t you learned to not be baited by them by now? I finally had to say something when they said this wasn’t a China problem, most of our cases are because of Europe. 2 years ago my parents slipped and made the comment of “those stupid Trump supporters” and my response was “so now I’m stupid?”. I asked them 4 questions about policy and they both answered No to them all, just like I would and they then realized they needed to change their mindset a bit. I think people right now have an addiction to be fed fuel to hate this President even more and it’s made people be completely irrational. That happened with Fox to with Obama, but while they railed on his tan suit CNN actually pushes a narrative that the president is a Russian spy, massive difference.

I’m talking about this election. Tons of people pretending to be “woke” on Facebook couldn’t even vote for Obama. Look at all the Bernie bro’s. Keep up.

That in my opinion was a complete mind control exercise. My friends company is full of incredible people and hesitated to post that because they have police family members as well as workers of different ethnicity, and they are in full support of peaceful protests but not rioting. But they were harassed on their social media pages to the point where they said just do it. Later that day they were harassed again to take it down because it was decided that the blackout post was more disruptive. You again just continue to shake your head at what everyone is doing right now.

Asking that question is not deflecting from anything (fwiw, I've only seen it as a regularly featured aspect of coverage starting yesterday). It's a fair question to ask people who were so adamant about lockdowns and social distancing that now don't really seem to worry about it when it suits their cause. I'm not trying to say the cause isn't valid or they shouldn't be speaking their mind. I just can't help but notice the irony in it all.
Hopefully all the disruptions can tail off now and people can start to work on fixing the problems that led to the protests and the mayhem that also occurred. It's been pretty well debunked that the police killing black people is an epidemic, as the media tries to portray. The police, in majority of cases, get it right and arrest those who violate the law. It seems to me the real problem, where the real focus should be, is the court system that seemingly will punish minorities for minor crimes much more harshly than others. Once you're in the system (white or black), they try to keep you there. We need to figure out how to change things in "black neighborhoods" to where so many black youths aren't running afoul of the law to begin with, and then becoming trapped in the system. Other problems, such as black people being unfairly eyed with suspicion by store clerks and things of that nature, can't be legislated away. Those problems will only improve when people actually start judging by character and not by color or stereotypes.

I think it's more the DNC is incredibly corrupt and wanted Biden, for some inexplicable reason. Harris was a very bad candidate, Booker dropped out too early, Buttegieg was solid, but had some pretty big flaws(an iffy mayor of a small city), they sacrificed Warren, who really sacrificed herself, kind of the same with Klobuchar, Gabbard was the last choice of the DNC, so she got no traction, Bloomberg was never really in it, he and Steyer just needed a baffling reason to light money on fire, and we all know they hate Bernie with a passion because reasons. Who am I missing that was a relatively big name? They're in just as much disarray as the Republicans were in in 2012 and are just grasping at straws.
- Wetbandit1

The saving grace Biden has is that pretty much everyone who was in Obama's corner is in his. That's going to play a big role in lobbying and fundraising.

Probably a fair few more. They're certainly in the top-12 in the conference if they used an NHL goalie instead of Hutton for his starts, so they would've been playing more hockey this season.

I mean, look at this stretch of 11 starts Hutton made this season:

- JetpackJesus

Let's not assume Lundqvist would have been any better for us. It's easy to look at this stretch and say Lundqvist would have gotten us a few more points, but to be fair let's look at the start and finish of the season:

First 10 games
Hutton 6-3-1 13 points
Lundqvist 3-6-1 7 points

Last 10 games
Hutton 5-5 10 points
Lundqvist 3-7 6 points

So combined Hutton got 23 points in those games versus Lundqvist's 13 points. The Rangers also scored 39 more goals than the Sabres, giving their goalies better goal support.
Not so sure that we would be any higher in the standings and definitely not worth the additional $6m in salary.

The Sabres were 11th in SV% 5v5. 20th in PP and 30th in PK. I think fixing the special teams would have a bigger impact than changing goaltenders.

Let’s say during Hutton’s losing streak Hank went .500
That would be 8 more points
But it’s tough to look at it just like that
Idk how it would’ve played out over a full season,
but i think Lundquist is better than Hutton.
Could be that I’m not seeing how much Hank has fallen off, but that Hutton streak of horror killed us

If Hank was a ufa & we could sign him for a few mil, then I’d do it
But I’m not trading anything of value for him
And i don’t want any part of that kinda cap hit

- jdfitz77

Wasn’t Lundquist’s record 10w and 12L. Maybe rethink that. The idea is to make the team better.
Lets just say if my dog didn’t stop for a sh!t he would have won the race and I’d be a millionaire.

The shutdown rules were not enforced any more rigorously against the protests to reopen than the curfews have been enforced. Let’s deal with reality instead of rhetoric

You have spent 13 years in this site spewing bullpoop about people who are out of work taking money from the government and can’t find anything productive to do with themselves so they act a sh!t for brains fool.

100% spot on. Which is exactly why I shake my head when all of these career 20+ year government officials are hailed in the media for speaking out or testifying against the presidents decision making. They are all snakes and DC is the absolute worst country club atmosphere on the planet, yet an outsider comes in and people want him ousted to only go back to a 40+ year country club member.
