African-American is about as racist as it gets. Is an American not an American? That society is a hypocritical cesspool of dung. - Nighthawk

Respectfully, the Kaepernick situation is a funny one. He's more of a 'disgruntled employee' than this cult hero protestor thing he has become. I'm not questioning Kaepernick's right to protest as many people died for those basic rights and freedoms. I'm questioning his methods of using his place of employment to push his agenda like many celebs do. I'm sure he was told by more than a few people 'if you do this, you may not play another game in the NFL'. But he did it anyways. So in hindsight he kind of got what he deserved other than the 'vilified' tag IMO just my take. Not sure about you but I personally can't use my place of employment to protest that moron Trudeau or my local MLA...I would literally be fired the next day. So I don't really have an issue with Kaepernick being blacklisted by the NFL when really, he brought it on himself. If he did it on his own time with his own money (nice Nike contract lol) then it's all good...say what you have to say. But using the NFL as his crutch to push his agenda I fully understand why the NFL wanted him out. And then a few years back he's tries to make a tryout comeback for NFL teams and made a mockery out of that. Again, if you don't think clearly before you act sometimes...you get what you get. And I say this respectfully to you with no hatred - LordHumungous
Respectfully with a winkie face, what the (frank) is that? |

Well why is it they have to state probable origins of ethnic ppl? Here we have 2 official languages & therefore use Canadian & French Canadian as citizenry. |

My dad was a dual citizen.
So was he a Canadian-American or a Snowbird-American? |

Reading between the lines, GMJB seems to be saying that Judd Brackett wanted total autonomy over the draft. Benning spoke about chain of command and not knowing of an organization where the Head of Amateur Scouting doesn't have to report to the GM or AGM. - VANTEL
Exactly. No team does and JB is the one who mandated Brackett both his position and all of the guys who reported to him. They did a great job, but the assignments and decisions came from above as they should. |

A good site for the draftists to use once the draft is upon us. - Nighthawk
What if you are just someone like myself, who has been following the draft for about 40 years and reads up on many prospects.

If you like to play GM it’s for everyone. I just thought the draftists could take it to another level. Some here have great insight into prospects & post it here. DCT so far has impressed me with his input. He proposed Pettersson when nobody else even considered him. I failed when I suggested Mittelstaft but I looked hard into EP after he mentioned him. Lately he suggested Rossi who I follow much closer now. |

Yes & it’s a proper term. You might have missed it but I said we have 2 official languages. I do not call them Quebecois. |

I call them what they wish to be called. I don’t give them my own tag. I introduced to my buddy his longtime companion. She is Nisga & refers to it. I don’t see the need to use it in every day conversation. She doesn’t call herself 1st nation. |

Barring a lottery win earliest we pick is 9 if we lose to Minny. Anyone you like in that range? FYI it appears to be a tier 4 range from what I gather from reading around. |

If there is no amateur hockey next year who are you taking in the 2021 draft? What will you be able to tell me about the players that didn't play ?

Very familiar with Nisga'a, as the Nisga'a Nation is a neighboring community, well neighboring for us up here. Lol
Nice responses by the way. |

I’ve been told by the health authority when I was hired if I say anything derogatory against the sitting government while at work or through email or publicly while at work my employment will be terminated. Even saying the things I do in here would get me fired.
I don’t think that’s right (and not sure it would hold up on court) but they pay me loads so I shut my mouth.
Saying that, Kaepernick‘s situation is totally different. He has to take drastic steps to highlight and expose the blatant persecution black Americans have to face from law enforcement throughout their country. The NFL should have worked with him and others players to resolve instead of blacklist. Once again, the optics are terrible. |

The bridge is here. Portland Winter Hawks have filed for bankruptcy already. They had a very good gate other years.
If fans are not allowed in buildings amateur hockey can not survive. |
