I was pointing out that Donny doesn't visit a Mosque, since only 1.1% of US citizens are muslim.
therefor, he doesn't think it's worthwhile gaining their support.
seems quite straightforward to me - not sure how that could be qualified as 'ignorant'.

Signing a young player who just exploded for a 90+ point season to a long term extension at 8-9 million per? Not so bad of a look. Signing a young player who hasn't cracked 70 in his 2 years in the league to 8-9 million... Probably not the best idea.

As I have stated on here before, I reserve the right to be absolutely franking terrified of four more years of Trump until two weeks after Biden's inauguration.

Having said that, in theory he could use this civil unrest to his advantage.

An interesting new development: apparently some teams are now happy to burn off the first year of the ELC instead of burying the kid in the AHL. The idea is that they can apprentice in the NHL, which will keep their first year numbers lower. You may lose a year of servitude on the back end, but hopefully the numbers on the 2nd contract will be lower.
