From what I’ve read and seen it sure does, but I wasn’t around for that. I read a really interesting piece on how what’s going on now is eerily similar to the 60s. In more ways than the protesting racial inequality. There was the space flights, a pandemic, a Cold War, which is being aligned to the China US tensions (obviously different in their own ways, but you get the idea).

Yeah although the cold war was much colder than the China stuff right now. Part of it is also just seeing so many people in the streets. The funny thing about Vietnam was that it was a war where nice white middle class kids got drafted into so the demonstrations and opposition was much broader. These protests are also broader than those after Ferguson and other shootings. Trump seems rattled.

Sorry for going on but in my mind, you’re in a big moment in history.
