We shop at Canadian Tire although I do use the Wamart Pharmacy(after Costco tried killing me) and my wife said they are very orderly and well organized. Unlike Superstore which is Mutual of Omaha's "Wild Kingdom".

I agree . I have seen some videos today of Police brutality and it is not acceptable. I also seen a video of a Seattle cop who pushed another cop off a protester that had the same knee hold that was used on Floyd.

It proves that with the right training and policies, incidents like Floyd can be avoided. The cops not handling the person should not only be looking to protect the cop subduing a person, but protect the person being cuffed or physically held. Like the incident you mention, the cop lets his partner know his foot is on the neck of the perp(or what ever) and gives him a tap on the knee and verbally lets him know what he's doing. Not only does it prevent accidents, but abusers cannot hide from their intent when the entire group is ignoring protocol and it's pretty open and shut from a legal stand point.

It doesnt help that many American police forces now bring in Israeli law/military people to train how to deal with unrest. America's police are becoming more and more like a occupying military in the way they treat people. Most of the city police yards now are full of military equipment and an alarming amount of small towns also have the same training and equipment. It looks like the plan is to get more abusive and authoritarian in the future as civil rights dissolve.

You are confused. Canada has never had free speech in their constitution. That is USA. We can go to jail for 5 years for preaching racism under hate speech laws.

We went to war with Germany because we are a British commonwealth.

Absolutely needs to be cleaned up.

I heard today 2 of the 4 cops were rookies on their first week. I heard that they tried to get the main cop to turn him over and both senior cops said no.

I think police brutality should be dealt with harsh response and even some charged as criminals.

The two cops in last nights incident were suspended and today all 57 members of that riot squad have resigned from the emergency response unit.. (Confirmed by CNN)

We have one of those and it works awesome. You will ruin a few pizzas getting the hang of it but once you do there's nothing like it. Especially a veggie pizza! Plus friends are amazed when you serve them something off the grill that ain't hamburgers or hotdogs.

The Charter also permits the government to enforce "reasonable" limits. Hate speech, obscenity, and defamation are common categories of restricted speech in Canada."

So I ended up buying a really cheap model of the egg. It's small, more for camping or couples. I could only cook six full size burger patties on it at once, but you could also cook a smaller turkey and easily cook a chicken.

With the accessories I wanted, it cost me less than $400.

It will probably be destroyed within 5 years or so but it also allows me to cook things how I want to without dropping 2 grand on a BBQ. The next one I buy will be a lifetime purchase and this one will strictly be for camping.

Missed this.

That price point of $400 is much easier to stomach. Good job. From my understanding most egg type grills are really well built and if you care for them they will last for more than 5 years. Plus I like the idea of having two sizes of grills. Smaller one for quick meals and a larger one to entertain with.

As marwood said, keep us posted on progress. Want to know what you think.

Ironically, foreign lobby like Israel succeed in having rights taken from citizens of the countries that defeated the Nazis. Now in Canada you can get up to 5 years in prison for joining a boycott of products from the occupied Palestinian territories. A boycott is a peaceful protest but now it's a hate law violation.... but regarding Israel only?

If you apply for a job that is federally funded, you have to sign an affidavit promising you are not involved in an Israeli boycott or not get hired. WTF???? Many states have signed onto this. I think the government would look kind of stupid saying we are now allowing you to go out in public and back to work but be careful of the deadly because you can easily get it .
