Thats an exception that applies to people with law enforcement training and for professional security etc.
Another exception as far as carrying goes is people who work in the bush like prospectors etc. You cant work and hold something like a shotgun or have it on your shoulder etc so they licence you to carry a side arm for bear/cat protection. Otherwise you'll get caught by a predator with the firearm out of reach.
None of this really factors in to what we are talking about though. - boonerbuck
I am a simple guy who is basically saying there are a lot of people walking around with guns breaking the law .
I made that statement originally in another blog because Lefty said it is only a handful of people abusing the law. |

Wow, I wonder if they’ll speed things up by playing every second night... or if they’ll drag it out for 2.5 months like usual. |

Bettman talked about calling players back Jun 15th but it looks like it may be July 15th or so with the civil unrest in the States. Aug 1 would be my guess for the start but tough to say. Sooner the better. Get things rolling. |

The elite players tend to have good PO’s mostly cuz opportunity & TOI. Unsung heroes are the warriors that help carry a team. It’s not all about scoring.
0 games makes for an eye opener.
Long runs or cup wins is invaluable learning how hard the grind is to reach the pinnacle.
Nothing to do about being new & all about the PO’s are a different beast & overcoming any adversity. There is a lot of non calls & stuff to battle through every shift that isn’t everyday in the regular season. - Nighthawk

Where the elderly, non threatening peaceful protestor was shoved by cops, causing him to fall and hit his head on the concrete, resulting in losing consciousness and bleeding from his fukin head, while the police move on and detain other protestors, literally walking right past him.

My first look I thought wow more abuse . I watched it about 7 times more and I thought the guy tripped and banged his head. I didn't think it was excessive force.
I can't help but thinking if you don't want to get hurt then don't walk up to the cops and try to grab them when they are in the middle of the crowd control.
I think most of the fault on this incident falls on the pedestrian. |

I disagree, but it is what it is.
I read that there is a major protest planned for Washington DC next week (Monday maybe?). Expecting millions of people, almost as many as turned out for his inauguration. |

I think the cops should concentrate on parking tickets . Paper work at the office and loose cougars in the area and let the protesters all gather and do what they want. This way they can not be accused of too much force when 20 000 people gather and do whatever the hell they want.
No matter what they do there is a angry public waiting to lynch them .
I am a senior just like that guy in the video but I am not stupid enough to know I don't walk up to a marching crowd control operation of the cops and try to put my hand on one. How stupid can people really be.
I really hope in the next couple of days the cops don't bring guns or batons , no canisters , no spray they just stand back and let the people do whatever the fuk they want. If a person wants to get by they move to the side and let them do whatever they feel like.
