Mr. Lacroix had a home in Brigantine for years. We would hang out with Andre Jr. and play street hockey as he was around our age. Very nice man who would come down to the rinks and watch every once in a while. Boy could he rip a slapshot.

Andre Lacroix was my first ever favorite Flyer. Yes I am old. I'm so old I went to a game at the Spectrum and the goalie on the other team did not wear a mask! (Andy Brown/Pittsburgh).

Yup I’m old enough to remember him as well. I recall my dad pointing him out, probably during the 70-71 season and saying he’s the Flyers best player but that Clarke kid is gonna be better. I must have been all of 5. Clarkie and Bernie were my first faves, but Lacroix was the first Flyer I remember noticing.

Bill, will you speculate when the first training game might take place based on how things are coming together now?

After reading Bill's words about him I wish I were old enough to have been a fan during his tenure. I was alive, but not hockey conscious yet.

Some of you will hate me for asking but two months isn’t enough time for a “healthy” Patrick to get back into game shape, even as a depth player, if he can in fact play? Most of us were expecting the season to be cancelled and hoping he’d be ready by September.

Were I the decider I'd keep him out until at least the beginning of next season.

I don't see any chance he plays this Summer.

He is 22 years old and has migraines. Its not like he blew his knee out or lost a limb here.

Sadly Its much more likely that Lindblom will never play again.

So what are people more concerned with, where we seed or who we face in the 1st round. Not gonna lie... I kinda want to see us lay a whooping on the Pens 😁

Flyers have his rights until approximately 6/27 I believe. That’s 30 days after he announced pro status.

Nope. He declared himself a pro on May 28th, which gives the Flyers 30 days (June 27th) to sign him.

I’m so excited for hockey to come back I’d watch the players skate around in circles. Any chance they’ll televise the workouts?

Honestly that’s the right call. I just wouldn’t mind Malkin looking like a fool against us again.
