I am a racist because I do not consider this a genocide against african americans
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qwif8PF1EI - homiedclown
my guess is if people of color talked normal, stopped shooting each other every night and acted civil in times of crisis
the future generations would be less racist then the present
and racism goes 2 ways, there is a lot of black people that are racist toward white people, my guess is a greater percentage - homiedclown

Read an article on The Athletic about how an NFL staff employee put his job on the line by helping several players create the video which upon release forced Goodell to issue his 2nd statement with a tighter more specific message.
Good stuff.
While reading, it occurs to me that the Police Unions and Police Departments have yet to formally release any sort of message on specific steps they are prepared to take inorder to make meaningful changes in their culture of protecting bad cops until civil unrest forces the issue...time and time again, year after year.
The mentality of snitches-get -stitches and other related phrases prevelent to protect wrong-doers is as moronic as committing the act itself.
I am appalled this leadership is as tone-deaf as they are.

Bad cops have been referred to as “bad apples.” This is a good description, and fits well within the old adage about bad apples.
“One bad apple spoils the bin.”

still not sure what is wrong with this
there is a lot of black people that are racist, just like white people
perception leads towards racism
a conversation goes two ways not one, and that is the only way the country heals, instead of cow tow
instead we have elected officials bending the knee because 2 unarmed black people were killed by cops and it's a genocide
maybe one day you can have a conversation about this, instead of trying to be an a$$, until then have a nice life |

the deaths of african americans per year is much lower under trumps watch by cops then obamas watch
so there is that
if you would like to have a real conversation on the issue |

Further reading at Reuters in which an article reveals
The Congressional Black Caucus, with over 50 Democratic members in the House of Representatives and Senate, will lead Monday’s unveiling of legislation expected to ban police chokeholds and racial profiling, require nationwide use of body cameras, subject police to civilian review boards and impose new police protocols limiting lethal force and requiring officers to intervene when they witness misconduct.
A couple of thoughts
- Good, if that is what the Bill will include, it sounds like a big step in the right direction
- Are those the top priorities in driving meaningful change? Should more discourse be had to thoroughly sort it out? Don't want it dragged out, yet, in 2 weeks time is this the best that can be done?
- What took so long? If indeed these are the top priorities, an internal discussion must have been had over some relatively lengthy period of time, why did this have to wait until this level of civil unrest?
I am all for legislation that will hopefully drive meaningful change and fully recognize that waiting too long could jeopardize the public support. I would like to understand the flipside to these proposed changes as well before rushing legislation that may have unintended consequences.

Thursday - Drove from Savannah, GA to Bradenton, lots of intermittent rain along the way, some very heavy
Friday - rained all day literally, steady, consistent but not super heavy as it can be down here.
Saturday, rained very heavily until early afternoon then let up and finally stopped
Today - very cloudy, sure looks like we will get our share.
Forecast is for rain likely everyday this week...moreso than the normal afternoon shower typical of summertime.
Lawn should look good though. I laid alot of new sod over the past 4 -5 weeks.
Pool overflow pump turned on many times over the past few days.
Cool drive last week Wednesday as we made our way from Bradenton to Wilson, NC...drove straight through the eye of the hurricane after it came on shore near the N/S Carolina border...wasn't very strong winds thankfully...but was cool to be in the middle for like 30 minutes. |

Maybe the NFL should hire him as a Consultant.
That way no team has to worry about the distractions and he could have a more profound impact. |

I continue to be of the belief a more comprehensive overhaul is required to rid the team of its mental frailty, combined with below average skills and overpaid players.
More than a tweak is needed IMO. |

Again he is 32, hasn't played in 3 years. What is his contract demands. According to Rappaport the cap could go down 40mill next year. The Bill's have a lot of young guys coming up for contract that are more important then signing Kap. |

Change can be a good thing, and if Granlund contract demands aren't out of wack, I would bring him in, team needs playmakers. |

Exactly
There isnt a qb in the league that compares more to cam newton than josh allen. Size and scrabbling abitlity. Even accuracy is a common fault.
I think the issue would be the qb room. There's a reason the Bill's have surrounded josh with : nate peterman,
derek Anderson, barkley and fraum. 0 threat of replacement.
Would the Bill's want a distraction, (,a qb controversy) if allen has a few bad games? |

If the cap goes down significantly, what does that do to tre's contract? Do they punt? Wait until next year?
