You dummies still calling each other racists?
Anyone here listen to Satiar Shahs rant on Tanev yesterday? It was quite abrasive . No punches pulled . I do agree with him. I think if you are looking at Tanev first of all needs to be short term and secondly a good price.
I am still in favor of a trade to fill that spot. - VANTEL

My priorities are
Marky Group A
Toffoli Group A
Tanev Group B
Jake Group B
Everyone else
I wouldn't be in a big hurry for Tanev. I would explore a trade for a younger player for top 4

Yeah I can’t imagine Tanev only wants to play for two more years though. Why should he sacrifice his personal well being when the team has shown a willingness to pay guys like Myers who have not contributed anything? - 1970vintage
Short term deal now and then he can re-up with Vancouver again later if it suits.
He loves it in Vancouver and has a good relationship with management.

Baseball is doing the same thing. The reality of sports right now is survival.
Baseball is going to be dropping a lot of Double A teams this year . Businesses are looking for ways to survive, |

Agreed. Maybe salaries will come back to reality for grown men playing children’s games and childish adults who idolize them lol[/img] |

I sure hope Larionov is right about Podkolzin, he’s obviously bias being his agent because he looks like a slightly better version than Jake Virtanen if you ask me. Topping out as a Michael Ferland in his prime. |

Obama was the people's champion of a sort and a great speaker for the most part but he was an unmitigated disaster economically as President...one of the worst actually.
Some Obama numbers to ponder when he left office:
National debt doubled from 10 trillion to 21 trillion
Debt per US citizen doubled from avg 31,000 to 61,000
Labour participation rate dropped 3%
Home ownership rate dropped 4%
Avg house hold income dropped 4,000 per year
Avg yearly health plans went from 12,000 per year to 18,000 (yikes Obamacare lol)
Tax to benefits ratio up 20%
Food stamp dependants increased almost 11 million
poverty rose from 38 millionj to 45 million
And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
As always...have to be careful what you wish for.

Most of what you posted above is not true or manipulates the truth. There’s no doubt that Obama added greatly to the US debt but it didn’t double. Obama added $8.5B to US debt over two terms. That’s a lot. But Trump is on pace to add $6.8B in his first term alone. If he gets a second term and his spending stays the same, he will surpass Obama by a long shot.
The irony is that Obama and Trump budgets aren’t that different and they kind have done the same thing in terms of how they spend. They both gave big tax cuts, spend loads on military, and gave big bailouts during recessions. Most economists agree Obama was essentially a Republican dressed as a Dem but most alt-right folks can’t get past their prejudice to realize that.
Anyway, it’s not the president’s who set the budgets it’s the parties that do. Way too much emphasis is given to the leader and not the parties. It’s frustrating.

I’d swap Toffoli and Tanev myself. I like Toffoli a lot and he slid right in, but we we’re already giving up a ton of chances against and getting rid of one of our better shut down Ds doesn’t help that.
That said, if Tanev is looking for a long term contract or a significant raise then he’s got to go. |

Sweet bro, cars are sweet and proof that you are totally not gay.
how’s your sister/wife and kid/niece? - neem55 Buddy, sorry to remove you from the homophobic dark ages, but gay people drive muscle cars. But yeah, you just keep on flipping out about the injustices of racism and quoting Zack Del la Rocha and turn a blind eye on your own bigotry. It's easier that way.

One other teeny, tiny difference....
Obama increased debt through stimulus and incentives designed to get the economy back on track during the worst recession since the depression.
The Pumpkin King and his buddies grew that debt during "the greatest whatever in the history of all whatevers."
Generally speaking you should pay down your debt when times are good so you can use it again when you need to. Still cannot fathom how people would dare suggest that buffoon has done anything positive. |

Im just trying another route of being so absurdly sarcastic and insultry that he just gives up on political posts all together
The homophobic dark ages of dudebros with truck nuts that think masculinity is driving trucks and having bbqs steak is exactly what i was mocking. I thought it was fairly obvious. |

Not here to be the PC police, but maybe, just maybe you should rethink your line of humour.

My brother is gay and his partner drives a new Camaro. I think his point was that even though you were being sarcastic, it was in poor taste. |

I have a gay cousin with a nice car, i think it’s a supercar. I was actually making fun of the stereotype, and the fact that holding those types of opinions Is a part of rigpig culture. Common like trucknuts and f350’s, bro. |
