My brother is gay and his partner drives a new Camaro. I think his point was that even though you were being sarcastic, it was in poor taste. - Codes1087 One day, when he comes to his senses Codes....He'll buy a Ford. |

Agreed. Maybe salaries will come back to reality for grown men playing children’s games and childish adults who idolize them lol - I-own_da-Northwest[/img]
Maybe owners will cut ticket prices, so the working class can afford to go to a game.
It would also reduce the hockey generated revenue causing players and owner to make less money.
Oh yeah, that is also a fantasy. |

Yes, you’ve furthered my thought. That would be a great end result. To get back to $50 tickets and make it affordable to real hockey fans and more traditional people. It’s sad that maybe 30-50 year fans are priced out of games. |

Most of what you posted above is not true or manipulates the truth. There’s no doubt that Obama added greatly to the US debt but it didn’t double. Obama added $8.5B to US debt over two terms. That’s a lot. But Trump is on pace to add $6.8B in his first term alone. If he gets a second term and his spending stays the same, he will surpass Obama by a long shot.
The irony is that Obama and Trump budgets aren’t that different and they kind have done the same thing in terms of how they spend. They both gave big tax cuts, spend loads on military, and gave big bailouts during recessions. Most economists agree Obama was essentially a Republican dressed as a Dem but most alt-right folks can’t get past their prejudice to realize that.
Anyway, it’s not the president’s who set the budgets it’s the parties that do. Way too much emphasis is given to the leader and not the parties. It’s frustrating. - bloatedmosquito
Sorry dude you may not like Trump but those Obama numbers were posted by many credible statistical US sources after Obama was out of office. I'm sure there is a 'margin of error' but for the most part it's pretty accurate. Is what it is. |

I’d swap Toffoli and Tanev myself. I like Toffoli a lot and he slid right in, but we we’re already giving up a ton of chances against and getting rid of one of our better shut down Ds doesn’t help that.
That said, if Tanev is looking for a long term contract or a significant raise then he’s got to go. - CubanBuffet

Goldy had NHL skill but an AHL career for a reason. Pro sport or any sport I played competitively is about seize the opportunity & force your way onto the team. Don’t do that or want it bad enough somebody else will. It’s not T-ball lol |

I agree Goldy's effort level (especially on D) was suspect at times. But in the right situation his skill may have gotten him over the hump. Hard to say but Green never really gave him the benefit of the doubt. Green seems to have doghouse spots reserved for certain things/players and he needs to get past that. IMO |

Floaters get no benefit of the doubt. Cannot have others do all the heavy lifting & believe he’ll get a pass. It’s FIFO & apparently doesn’t translate into Russian that well. Those that fit into the system the coach wants will do fine if they buy in & the skills to earn it. If he was a student of the game to any degree he would look around & self teach himself instead of being either stupid or self important. OV Malkin Kucherov Tarasenko are fantastic Russians who are not only superstars but examples of what talent can be if willing. |

Sutter is the worst floater in the team and his name gets him the benefit of the doubt.
