from what I've gathered, the police had already asked for his permission and frisked him for weapons and he had none, something they already knew...they had his car parked in the lot and i'd assume had his license information...he already been through field sobriety tests including a breathalyzer test both of which, apparently, indicated he was driving while under the influence...
if he gets away, a warrant is issued and he's eventually arrested...
not saying what I would do in that tense situation would be any different as a suspect is shooting my taser at me while fleeing, however, they could have gotten him at a later date if he got away because they had all the information they needed including body cam identification - Michael Pachla
True, they could have just let him go, but who's to say he doesn't use that taser to steal a vehicle or hurt or kill someone else with it. Not that I know if he would do something like that, but who knows. |

I had a dream last night that we signed his brother, Mike Kahun. I have no idea if that's a real person or not ... guessing "nope". But there ya go.
Good day to you. - kritter65

Maybe your subliminal concensiness is confusing mike with jasper olloffson? |

Killorn is coming off a strong season. He's not a cap dump (a player who produces very little compared to what they are paid).
Cap dump is a term being thrown around a bit too much. - kingcong39
Well getting rid of his salary would help Tampa be able to sign some of there younger guys like Sergachev and Cernak, but yes you are right. |

Just trying to talk a little hockey, I don't think I would even give up this year's 1st for Cirelli, maybe next years, and I wouldn't consider a cap dump. Just trying to see how far people are willing to go. - Buff36
it's a tough call...with the benefit of hindsight, one could easily assume he'd be a top-10 pick in this year's draft, so they'd be exchanging an unknown in the draft for a sure thing |

Yeah OK (frank) those guys - gerbe75pts
Hey Gerbe, maybe it was a win win situation, but I gotta say it’s looking like Cozens was the best pick outta Caufield and Zegras. I don’t remember Cozens being known for his scoring during his draft year. Not to the level of his last season. Can he be Brayden Point right outta the gate? |

No Cozens, and say Killorn - Buff36
I very much doubt they move Cirelli.
However, playing along if they required Killorn to be included with Cirelli I would be inclined to enter into serious negotiations.
I would assume they would want ELC and picks, with 2020-1st required....not sure what else.
I would include Mitts for sure. |

I'd move our 1st rounder this year for a 2c.
Maybe add risto , montour or sam for combination of 2c and goaltender.
Arizona seems like kuemper or raanta could be a good upgrade for hutton.
What would they cost? |

you seem to have a problem for the few criminals who die, yet you have not said one thing about the innocent cops and white people who have died due to these "peaceful" protesters
what are your thoughts about the retired cop in missouri who was killed defending his friends store

both of those goalies are over $4M next season which is kinda steep to be a backup for ullmark |

If there was one position on the current Sabres we could upgrade significantly for 2.5 million, it would be goaltender.
Hutton let points slip away.
Not sure if ullmark would be the starter , maybe a 50/30 split?
Gotta think Arizona would want to move one of the 2 guys. 8 million is super expensive for the pair |

Killorn is a solid player, albeit playing on a loaded team, consistently puts up 40 - 45 pts...but blew that out this year. Point is that he is more than a Cap Dump IMO.
I would do our 1st this year no problem, as it would be a win if that 1st produced as much as Cirelli, and Cirelli is young to fit the Sabres timeline perfectly.
Kong is right though, Killorn is a lefty so that position would need to be rationalized, but Mojo and Kahun can play right pretty well.

2-C's are hard to come by...we've known that for a while and that's why i'm trying to temper my expectations...would I love cirelli?...absolutely...Monahan?...yup...
malkin/kopitar?...both add a lot to the team in addition to their roles as point-producing stars with multiple cup rings...
just can't see it happening

So the Sabres and Sharks are discussing a trade...
Apparently the Sabres are trying to scoop up M. Jones... but the guy they really need is T. Hertl.
Sooo... What for M. Jones and T.Hertl?
SJ needs dmen to offset the big money they are already paying on the blue line.

What do the Sabres have to give, that those teams would want? The comperable for Malkin, is Eichel. |

and that's one of the reasons I keep my expectations in check...we know eichel and dahlin are untouchable, do the sabres have players that a.) those teams would want and b.) buffalo is willing to give up?
for instance, would buffalo give up this year's first, cozens and Borgen for either?...would the kings or pens feel that was enough? |
