No fans over a 162 (81 home games) sched is massive for MLB. NHL can make it work as most of the season was already played. - LordHumungous
I was just listening to Chris Johnson on Sportsnet. He said ( and I agree) the NHL is watching MLB carefully. He said NHLPA and NHL are working closely together to see how they can fix the finances and CBA.
The only reason the PA is agreeing to finish this season is to protect salaries for next year and upcoming years.
Another of your right wing mobster friends. - Marwood

Most analysts say her closest comparable is John Mccain. They did so many "bipartisan" projects abroad. I'd say that was 100% accurate. It's no surprise that she and the DNC paid for the Steele dossier and John Mccain hand delivered it to the FBI after the CIA turned it down as a fraud.

I think the NHL is watching NBA more personally. MLB was due to start in April so I could see them shutting it down with no fans in the stands. If NBA goes and it looks good...Bettman will follow. If the NHL is watching MLB carefully to fix finances and CBA's we are in big trouble lol

And not ONE media outlet reported that Hillary lost her appeal and must testify on Sept 9th about the 600,000 emails....
Play me out a scenario of a team that would be willing to give something up to acquire a pending RFA who will need a QO of $2.325m and could see a significant bump in an arbitration setting. Who is in control in that situation? - 1970vintage
Situation:
- Covid
- 3rd pairing reliable d man
- IF arbitration & a significant bump team walks away
- flat cap
- is he guaranteed a job
- will he get more or less

I’m not sure if you are legitimately stupid or just being obtuse.

I tried reading this a few times to understand . I finally gave up

Is Stecher in high demand?
Will he get an offer from a team in a better position than the Canucks?
How many teams will make an offer?
Will a flat cap improve his negotiations?
Would he go to arbitration & hope he can become a UFA?
Just a few questions he would have to consider.
Imo his worth is nothing special & many teams won’t be spending much in this next UFA season.

He asked & I answered. I was obtuse on purpose in these uncertain times. I didn’t choose to answer his question as he formed it. It’s the real world & the normal will change & as he stated it it isn’t reality.

I think Stecher has a little value . Sign him as a UFA for mil as a 6/7

I am usually use to your style of answering but I had trouble with that one. Not important.
