Yep. And not a lot at that. - Wetbandit1
My point is, I just listened to Elloitte Friedman on the Instigators and he mentioned the possiblity of both McJesus and Jack asking for a trade because of the poor teams they play for. I'm just looking for recent precedent to back his beliefs |

Good choices. Now, were any of them in the midst of a long-term deal where they were 4-5 years away from UFA status? |

no, but none were in BUF and none played for the feudal lordship of the Pegula clan. |

Eichel stays by the way. Leaves when hes a UFA if they arent winning by then (which they should be). |

If they didnt hire Holland and Tippet, i think McD does ask to be traded. He was starting to get unhappy. Jack on the other hand, i think he's closer to asking for a trade. I think it all depends on what happens this offseason and next season. |

I don't see Adams cutting his own throat by trading Eichel.
That's a bigger career suicide than trading O'Reilly. - Powerslave
The suicide wasn't trading ROR it was not replacing him. |

Rick Nash?
Evander Kane isn't on that level, but he was a star who kept asking for a trade, though the circumstances were different there too, because he felt like he didn't fit in.
Edit: Late on Nash. |

I think Jack gives the. This offseason and upcoming season a chance. If things dont change for the better, i do see him asking for a trade unfortunately |

I don't know if hanging a potential miss of an 8th overall on him is what did it. Look at the guys drafted right around him in Lias Andersson and Michael Rasmussen. They don't exactly inspire a lot of confidence either. And Mittelstadt has almost the same amount of GP as both of them combined. I know Rasmussen missed a big portion of the year, but still. You have to go all the way to 20(Robert Thomas) to find a guy currently doing well in the league. |

it depends on how kym and teri want to handle it
every gm we have had has been a puppet for them
if they want a simmonds and a frolik the gm gets it
if they want ror and kane gone, the gm does it
if they want an okposo, the gm tries to get it
if they want a new goalie, the gm goes and gets it

Mittelstadt and Cozens were his attempts at replacing him.
I think it’s too early to slap the bust label on Mitts, I think he still has top 6 talent I just believe it’s as a winger not as a Center. He struggles in the defensive zone and a lot of it is due to average speed.
Mitts is probably my biggest whiff ever. I really thought we had our 2C and I allowed his WJC and other various international tournaments to cloud my judgement over the various red flags that were popping up across the duration of his USHL/College career that are plaguing him now.
Should Botts have acquired a stop gap and not rushed Casey ? Absolutely. |
