Nash is for sure one of my all time favorites to watch. Marian Gaborik in his prime is another. Superstars who don’t really get the credit they deserve as wingers - sbroads24
Jacques Lemaire killed Gaborik, and it's a travesty.

Nash’s goal against Phoenix was probably the goal of that decade.
Don’t know if I’d go as far as “Super Star” but each of them were high end 1st line wingers.
All the talk was of "the big Finns" after Matthews like it was all about "the Sams" pretty much the whole year before the draft. Everyone was shocked when Dubois was picked.
Much like 2014 where no one had Draisaitl over Reinhart no one had Dubois ahead of Puljujarvi.
Also, that Hydraulic Press Channel sounding mother(frank)er - Wetbandit1
I mean someone had Draisatil over Reinhart
We wouldn’t have Dahlin though and I believe everything happens for a reason.
Central scouting also had Rossi ranked 7th today, Gunler at 28 (even though he really isn’t far off from Raymond/Holtz) and Mysak not even in the first round.
There is a reason why some teams draft well and a lot don’t. 50% is luck but 50% is having talented skill evaluators.

And I'm sure Geoff Sanderson thinks his kid is #1.
Which 50% though? And 50% is a lot. The sooner people realize the draft is a crapshoot, even at the top, the happier they'll be.

Ya hoping for a Eichel and 3/4 of the time getting a Yakapov or Dal Colle - Buff36
Friday is a big, big day once again for the franchise... hopefully they can slot into a top 5 pic...especially if McKensie's latest ranking is representative of how the early portion of the draft goes ... Byfield at 3 would be great!!!

Yes it would, even if we moved up to 2 I would take him over Stutzle.

I’d honestly debate taking Byfield at 1.
If we are talking in terms of “today” then yes you can argue Stutzle and even Rossi are more Pro Ready and further ahead (excluding Lafreniere who everyone knows will be in the NHL next year)
Byfield’s potential though is sky high. Looks like Eichel 2.0

Stutzle is a big unknown to me, looks really good but playing in the German league is a ? to me. Lundell looks more pro-ready than those 2, but doesn't have the upside it seems. Byfield if we move up, Holtz if we don't unless Raymond falls some how. I like Lundell a lot but we need more of a impact player.
Bob McKenzie on Jack Quinn: "May be the best pure goal scorer in this entire draft. Quinn also plays a high energy 2-way game that has scouts projecting him as a high end scoring winger with a great all around game."
Bob McKenzie's evaluations come from NHL scouts' opinions.

Whichever GM takes Lundell outside of the top 10 will look very smart in a few years.

Late bloomer, didn't really do much until this year, that kinda puts a big ? On him, but McKenzie knows more than me.
