Ok, so you’re saying the Canucks are not unique or better than any other team? So ranking teams would be an exercise in opinion only?
I’ll agree with that. - bloatedmosquito
I think they are better than most teams . I think we are top 5 |

Resigning Toffoli locks it down. Means assets down the road left to use for need. |

Hearing Reid Boucher is close to signing a 1 year deal with Omsk Avangard in the KHL.
The #Canucks have given Boucher permission to get out of his contract.
Most likely Boucher will not be available to be a black ace for the Canucks.

Oh great, phase 3 expected next week.
I expect to be flooded with Canadians from all over the country.
Not a good time to be living in a small rural community, with the only river open for fishing, in BC.
Dr. Bonnie is making some bad decisions. |

Here’s my crazy theory... within the Canucks organization, if a forward plays any significant time with the farm team you have little to no chance of being an impact on the NHL team. Especially for a first round pick.
If you look at our young core group of BH, EP, BB, and QH they have about 5 games in the AHL combined.
On the other hand you have JV who’s played 60+ games on the AHL, has not lived up to expectations, and is a frequent target as trade bait.
Impact players avoid the AHL like the plague. - bloatedmosquito
You are right about goalies and d-men that’s why I said “forwards”.
- bloatedmosquito
Then why'd you mention Hughes?
The AHL is a good development league for players. BB, QH, and EP didn't come straight over after their draft, they went back to their league to develop more. And, if you expand your circle from outside those Canuck top 10 picks/young core...:
- JTM played just over 100 games in the AHL (1st round pick)
- TT played 77 (2nd round pick)
- Pearson played just over 100 (1st round pick)
I know you mentioned within the Canucks organization, but just thought I'd put that out there |

I don't find it that funny. My community has 22 hospital beds, 2 ventilators and is 600 km fro a decent sized hospital.
It is a community that gets flooded every year with travellers from all over.
Not impressed with this decision. |

Last I heard it is part of Canada . Canadians can visit it unless it is private property.
All of BC had maybe 30 new cases yesterday so I doubt all 30 cases will end up in your hospital. |

I would not be surprised to see Rafferty and Briesbois playing on the Canucks this year.
We had Benn and Fantenberg last year as a bottom pairing so I could see it happening .
They can both win spots or maybe one. I don't see Stecher back and I have my doubts about Tanev. |

Isn't New Brunswick part of Canada?
We also have the largest construction project in Canada, going on here.

How many people have Covid in New Brunswick due to 1 person?
The hospital there had 41 staff members self isolating and 10 infected.
It is a real fear in small, rural communities. |

All good points. Stecher might be back and do we really need Benn riding the press box all the time? In an ideal world Stecher and Tanev are both gone (super soft) and Rafferty and Brisebois can move up. |

I didn't want 20 000 people gathering in Robson Square two weeks ago but there they were.
You don't want to catch it then isolate . Construction is not front line work . Close shop until the pandemic is over then . |

Here's the thing that most don't seem to understand, it, covid, isn't in my community, nor is there many cases in my health region, maybe keep everyone else out. |

If you are going to shut things down then do it 100 % . Don't pick and choose. Millions and millions of people have been gathering at rallies for the last month . I suggest you target there first and not some river that a bunch of campers may go to. If I remember correctly two weeks ago you suggested that people going camping was not an issue for CV19.
Camp sites have as much right to be open as a construction camp does, |

Why does your construction business have more reason to open up their business over the tourism industry.
I don't know why your life matters more than mine. Shut down everything in the province then.
Just keep open essential service which construction is not one of. |
