The anchors on the global news this morning said it was in Victoria. - VanHockeyGuy
Fair enough.
Haven't watched morning Global in years. Hearing what an entitled princess that Steve Darling was and then the English morning anchor was all I could take. Moved over to a more fluffy CTV morning news where one of the morning anchors can barely read the teleprompter. |

#Covid19Outbreak - VanHockeyGuy
Dr Bonnie said there was no risk to the customers - physical distance from staff, but it was carelessness on the part of employees, and not recognizing (mild) symptoms.
It was really only a matter of time... |

You could probably pick any major airport and get similar numbers or disturbing numbers.
Movie theaters are opening up next week that should be fun . Public pools too. |

There hasn't been enough deaths among the people under 50 . It is coming down to individuals to provide their own safe precautions.

If you think those stats are identical, i don't know what to tell ya.
Risto is younger, bigger, better than Hutton.
It's not even debatable.

I said DEFENSIVELY and against top opponents, which should tell you im talking about advanced stats right away. He’s much better offensively. Defensively a complete liability, very similar to Hutton(which is what i said). |

Isn't that like comparing Karlsson to Tanev because Tanev blocks a lot of shots and Karlsson doesn't ? |

No it would be like comparing hutton to risto to karlsson, because they are all defensive liabilities. I don’t get why everyone agrees barrie is a liability, risto has very similar numbers to him. In fact, Barrie is slightly better than risto. When they play against top lines or penalty kill they get torched. |

Here is the difference . When Risto gets put on the trade block Buffalo will receive 30 calls from GMs with valuable offers for him .
When Hutton went on the block there were less calls and not so many good offers.

I disagree. His value has gone way down. Last year was terrible, this year not too much better. He definitely has value, no doubt there, but teams wont be lining up for a one dimensional 40 point defenseman imo |

Breaking: MLB and players union are closing in on an agreement to play the 2020 season, via players. Deal expected to be for prorated pay and include expanded playoffs.

Source says no deal is close yet between MLB and MLBPA beccause the proposal was just sent by MLB. No agreement even in principle at this point.

Edler had a bad year, but he can also functionally penalty kill and defend. The underlying stats don’t support you here. Edler is much, much better defensively. Risto played very bad the entire season and a half he was out against top lines and penalty killing. Same can’t really be said about Edler. |

I just thought of this, Edler is generally not overly physical during the season, but he can be. In the playoffs he tends to bring more physicality, and with the lay off he should be healthy. As a defence that doesn't play overly physical as a whole the layoff could work to the Canucks advantage to allow the players to start the play in round capable of being agressive. It is an interesting idea I am curious to how it plays out.

That’s a fantasy hockey ranking risto isn’t a top-50 nhl dman(except for in fantasy points) He cant play on the top pair, he got merked the entire time he did. defensively a liability, just like hutton. |

Unlike the fantasy rankings in here?
I watched him play a few times last year and never seen a defect to his game.
I would take him no problem at all . |
