As more & more of this arises in the US the NHL probably safer to lean towards Canadian hubs.
It’s less risk if intending to finish the PO’s as each day passes. - Nighthawk
If everyone entering the bubble has tested Covid free does it matter?
I also wonder when I see things like Matthews has tested positive, does this mean he is in intensive care or he will be back on the ice in two weeks? I have seen a lot of athletes and staff testing positive but never hear anything after that. Is there long term damage or is it they had a fever for two weeks?

Sport leagues are being pretty hush hush about it all, so I'm not surprised we aren't hearing much about them.
George Laraque, a bit older than most NHLers at 43, was hospitalized for it. It's hard to know who is going to get hit worse than others, or who is going to have lasting symptoms or a weird reaction (like blood clots).
He tried to pull the same crap with your ref, most self centred, arrogant, self righteous piece of poop to post on Carol-Schram blog. - Nuckerwhatever
Wow.
I guess being the only native person, that i know of, posting on here makes me a bit sensitive to some of the content. Like when i see a post like “sports teams named after indigenous people dont offend my native friends” it seems ignorant. Because growing up with that, having the knowledge that people see you as an adversary is not pleasant. And frankly, you’re quite wrong.
Anyway I apologize to you folks all, but i also encourage you to try to appreciate my perspective. I deal with racist poop in rl all the time, whether me or family. I kinda would just not like to have it on here where i like to talk puck. Anyway, that’s my piece and im taking a small break.

It won't be a true bubble, though.
The guy who makes sandwiches at the practice facilities won't be in quarantine.
They will put in as many protocols as possible, but it won't be 100%.

I believe Laraque is asthmatic which likely contributed to his hospitalization. I posed this the other day. Stories we hear daily span the spectrum. I could see how this virus with some lasting damage to lungs could hinder an athletes performance long term. I guess we will see.

Not from what I heard. I her the hotel will be a bubble and all the food and catering will be part of the bubble.
I hear there was a 4 star hotel not opened yet that will specifically assigned to this and also the food service including some of Aquillini's restaurants will be part of the bubble . Not open to the public.

There's no way cleaning staff and busboys and waiters and cooks will be under 2 month quarantine.
