He is very raw though. One of the youngest, if not the youngest player available this year.
It is definitely possible he starts in the NHL right away because he does have the physical attributes however I’d let him go King Kong on the OHL one more year. - Pegullaville
I believe whoever drafts him will have him in the NHL. Could be wrong, but he has the size, skating, skills and IQ to make the jump

They would have taken Samsonov at 21 and he looks like a #1 in Washington right now making Holtby expendable - Pegullaville
6K looks like a real good one. |

We aren't picking in the top 5 so there is no reason to keep the pick. - SABRES 89

Trade the pick, no reason to keep a pick 6-10. This needs to move forward now or why keep making coach and gm changes. Pegula better hear Eichel and not " hear" Eichel. |

I would. He might not end up at Center due to height but he will be the best player available no doubt. He is a Marchand clone. |

I understand the ROR trade, we had nothing really to put around them to build the team at the time. The Kane trade and the 1st for Lehner were bad. And I think the Pegulas were butt heart about ROR and they called for his trade, it was a horrible decision. - Buff36
Do the kane trade any day. Every player/pick we traded didn’t amount to anything and it secured us Eichel. |

Losing Cal Petersen was a blow to the goalie ranks. Despite Ullmark having a decent season and Johansson surprising, Petersen looks to be a solid or better No. 1 |

Trade it.
Call Tampa, see if they be willing to part with one of the big 4 for it.

We still would’ve had Eichel, and like everyone else says who knows who would have been picked. |

Good post, but I think bogo was part of Winnipeg's camp dump.
Have to factor that in. Especially seeing that myers just signed for big $ and bogo was waived.

Get it all in while you still can.
I will find the actual bet in due time.
I’m amazed you haven’t disappeared already given the preliminary evidence that contradicts all the bullpoop you spewed the other day.

They had a solid 2015-16 and looked like they were on the upswing. 2016-17 was marred by a poor start due to injuries to Jack and Kane with a collapse of the locker room and a tuning out of Bylsma later that season |

I like the idea of trading for Larkin. Don't know Yzerman would though.
Outside of winning one of the lottery spots, I say Jack Quinn all day long. Probably will have to get in the top 5 to get him though. |

I honestly fail to see the difference between being a Sabres fan or a Sharks fan the last 9 years.
Both teams have 0 cups.
Whose closer to getting that cup today though ?
I mean I’m sure Habs, Wild, Isles, Flyers fans may have room on the bandwagon for more fans that want to see the team make the playoffs and never win anything either like they have the last decade.
Tanking is a proven method of winning cups. Ask Pittsburgh, Chicago, and LA fans if they are upset about picking top 10 in 6-8 consecutive years in the early 2000’s. |
