You know been thinking about this since the bloodletting. Has Adams gained enough trust with the Pegulas over the last 9yrs to just give him the reins to the Hockey Department. Can we be seeing something different with this Hockey Team. We will have to see, but if you see a Don Luce come back, could save a lot of face with in the hockey world.

Larsson is better than Gaustad. Gaustad was actually bad for a lot of his career.

Larsson was above replacement in a third line role, on a bad team.

You’re right he isn’t comparable. Larsson is better right now than Gaustad was.

I hated Larsson. He’s elite defensively and actually not a bad playmaker. I was wrong about him. He’s a very, very valuable bottom 6 player

You don't give a two way contract to a guy you're certain will play in the NHL full time. Clearly the fans thought higher of him than the previous hockey ops. I don't blame Pilut for a second taking the money. He proved he can be a bottom pairing Dman here. Yet the managers were stubborn. The agent clearly brought the possibility of the KHL to the table and they ignored it. Now they lost an asset for an undermined amount of time. Because they were stubborn. Believing that Kerry and Tim stood in the way of a one way contract is far fetched at best.

For the sole reason that a player was promised a full time role in the NHL. You don't say that to a guy and follow it up with "well here's a two way contract just in case." It's shoddy business.
