Pilut has looked good when he has played in Buffalo. This is a really cheap and horrible move by management/ownership.

If you cant afford him, sign to the 1 way and then trade him, he has value.

With the way they handled Pilut, who has looked good in buffalo, and Antipin, who wasnt really given a shot; I have no faith in players they sign from Euro.

Panarin would be back in the KHL if he signed with Buffalo instead of Chicago.
