I feel the same I just think he wants to be paid like 5-6 when he's in my not so expert opinion a 7? I feel like if we are a bit tight to the cap we could get similar production and value for money out of an entry level contract. I think Tryamkin is better used as a trade chip. That's a solid take. The timing is a difficult thing.

In my mind, depending on how the dominoes fall in the "offseason" whenever that is, he's definitely an option. Just not a 2-3 million multi year option at this point. He still has lots to prove at the NHL level.
