Leafs need a solid hard nosed third line C. Trade Kerfoot for Boone Jenner or someone like him. Dangle Nylander for a top 4 RD. I’d try to get Pesce from Carolina.

But you are not getting him for Kerfoot alone

Pesce is not worth Nylander at all. That's a dumb trade. Let's retire the "Trade Nylander for any top 4 D" theories, OK?

Leafs D is too good to just rush a trade for a young forward who was PPG under our new coach and can clearly be a 80-90 point forward.
