Could we get up to 2 or 3 ? That's what I want. Forgive my ignorance/stupidity. Took a hydrocodone as i just got out of Sisters Hospital after 6 days of being in there. - kritter65
They're going to have their choice of 2 top end prospects at 8, or more if somebody in the top 7 goes off the board. That is as good as they could have realistically hoped for. |

I just want a do-over because we dropped. I know we can't get 1 ... I'd like to be a little higher than 8 though. - kritter65
Ok? Sure, there are a bunch of teams that want a do over. Namely Red Wings, Ottawa. |
|
|
|
That would be nice but that's going to be a long wait as I don't believe there's a chance they move him. - kingcong39

Sorry to hear you were in the hospital, those Tabs can mess you up. There is no do over, even if the season was to be canceled. |

there is a really good chance the sens take 1 d man with their 2 picks
would not shock me if another team ahead of us either pick a d man or the goalie
I expect the sabres to be drafting the 6th offensive guy off the board when they do this draft

Yes they are, this could be the year to make that call, but they always seem to find a way. |

That doesn't mean they're going to trade one of their core players.
They have plenty of options regarding other players to move for a minimal return if needed in order to keep Cirelli. |

A Ducks fan earlier said they were taking Drysdale if he's there with their pick at 6. |

I'm sure some teams are thinking it that hace zero shot at the cup - gerbe75pts
I'd be willing to bet that none of the teams which people are worried about snaking the 1 OA pick believe that they have no shot at the Cup. |

I've been avoiding HBuzz when I was told by Fauci that if I wear a mask and post on HBuzz I'm putting my Grandfather at a higher risk of contracting Covid-19.
Covid-19 is not a laughing matter but Reading HBuzz might be more damaging to one's health.
Roster Surgery was announced by the Bott, he got the Buzzer not playing Operation and I for one feel the Pegulas with their faults had enough.
This roster will have a major shakeup this year. I feel two major weaknesses not discussed enough on the Sabres roster include
1. POOR and Inconsistent GOALTENDING (10pt) swing in pts over season
2. Winning the Lottery with Dhalin meant 2-3yrs before his potential shows on Ice.
Hope Cabin is well, and good to see Homie and Gerbe
P.S. If you can't filter a roster with talent through 3 lines, Start with putting all your talent on 1st Line with Jack, in the NHL you can win games with just a few goals.
Johansson - Eichel - Skinner
Olofsson - 2C(Kahun)/New Player - Rinehart
Vasily Glotov - Cozens - Mittelstadt
Pekar- Lazar - Okposo
If you don't know Glotov, he's the fastest skater I've seen at the past two yrs development camp and will remind you of Max!

Be interesting to see what the Kings do, they have some pretty high-end forward talent in there System. Is Drysdale good enough to go 2nd. |

there are play-in games and playoff games...
the play-in series' finish the regular season, as does the round-robin format for the top-four teams in each conference
the playoffs begin after the play-in round is finished...
not sure what part of this equation people don't understand - Michael Pachla

I see a team like Jersey drafting a goalie. They may even wait till its their pick to maybe trade down depending on who is left. Plus NJ has arizonas pick if they dont win lottery.

I would not trade the pick
If your changing your scouting department, and GM puppet and leaning on Ralph going forward with Kym, I feel you need to give them the pick to see what they can do.
I do not think there is a reason to get a long term second line center when you have casey, cozens and the 8th pick in 2020
I think the bigger need is to grab 2 good scoring wingers (assuming you keep reinhart), to give cozens and casey a legit chance to be a center
kahun may end up being that second line center, or could be a third line winger
tage could be a middle six winger, could be a bust
no matter what, casey and cozens both need to get 16 or more minutes a night in the nhl with 2 quality guys on their line, and one of them will probably need to move to the wing
it would not shock me if the lineup opening night is
skinner-eichel-tage
olofsson-cozens-reinhart
casey-kahun-johansson
then again they may overhaul half of the roster - homiedclown
That lineup triggers a jack poop storm culminating In a trade out of buffalo. |

good god, the kings have been brutal at drafting since 2011
no chance they roll the dice, they are taking Byfield
https://www.hockeydb.com/...aft/teams/dr00006664.html - homiedclown
Vilardi at C looks like the real deal, Turcotte will be there sooner than later at C, Dolan looks decent to. Kupari was hurt but has a decent chance to be good. They need RW and defense. |

I would have said the Kings had the best prospect pool in the NHL before getting Byfield/Stutzle.
What they have done the last two years is impressive. |

I'm going to be sad but I don't think we will get Dylan Strome with how we're trying to save money 😪...
They will look for players that have a low cap hit but a higher calling ..
And I don't expect us to trade picks i see us more moving our players for picks |
