That's the way I see it Carol, win-win. To have a poor draw in the new lottery or just win the play-in then lose wouldn't be a good outcome though. Win a couple of rounds then all you need is for a few key competitors to heat up without any real fear of burnout. |

Thanks Carol
I too love the chaos . Some people here think it looks bush league , I won't mention names.
I am out of here for the afternoon now have a good day and thanks again. |

I too luv the chaos. Some pizzaz after the play ins with Lotto 2. I can see beating Minny & win round 1 & done. If Minny surprises that’s cool. If we lose our 2020 1st then 2021 is a deeper D draft which works well, |

Thanks Carol great work!
Not to be a stickler, but in every season teams either make the playoffs or have a shot at the first overall selection. The only difference this year is that we already know the outcome of the draft, sort of. |

What about lose the play in, don’t win the lottery and surrender a potential lottery pick to NJ next year? |

That really has nothing to do with this scenario. That's related to the draft last year. |

2nd this motion if it comes down to that.
Besides we expect to be better next season & a lower pick let alone how next season goes or another stoppage. The 2021 draft is a deeper D draft.
We need more D prospects soon. RHD especially. Woo maybe plays in 2-3yrs. |

We have a faction that promotes that. They call themselves draftists. They claim the more a teams GM tries to suck the higher the pick is the way to go. Then they want that GM fired to be replaced by some unknown yet to be named guru to take us to the promised land.
Summary: if we suck properly & get lucky we will win the cup. It’s sheer genius nobody else sees that & does it. It’s all in the number of the pick not the scouting & astute drafting. Intentionally losing breeds winning. |

That isn’t it at all, clearly you don’t understand. Stop trying to label people you don’t agree with as being wrong. We each have our opinions, those opinions don’t make us wrong, or right, or smart or stupid. |

I’m not sure how you figure. It’s very possible that if they get this thingy off the ground the Wild win the series. It is also highly probable that the Canucks do not win the 1/8 lottery, thereby surrendering the 2021 first instead of the 2020, which is not protected.
