Are you saying using a mask doesn't actually help..? - NewYorkNuck
Not when you wear them part time. I was at public park yesterday with thousands of people and very few of them wore masks. So putting one on later to go get groceries doesn't seem to make sense. Public washrooms are a cesspool for spreading germs so
I think safe practice part time may help a little only.

My buddy jumped in my golf cart yesterday, normally walk but it’s slow on Sunday's, so I said “what are you doing, one person per cart”, he said not anymore, they changed the rules.
So are we not suppose to social distance any longer? I was fine with it as we golf together all the time but looks like the rules are going out the window.

I think people are still keeping 6 feet apart for now but yeah people are slowly ignoring the requests of the medical authorities.
Lots of those “Karen” videos online showing people losing their poop over having to wear a mask in public. Hilarious and sad at the same time. - bloatedmosquito
Did you see the one someone posted in here the other day? Palm Beach, Florida, dear god that nation is f*cked!!! DO NOT MANDATE HOW THEY CAN BREATHE!!

Have you seen the short video posted about the 1918 Spanish flu in San Francisco California? Some of the exact same things happen down there as is happening today, once the virus started to subside they relax the rules and told everyone they don’t have to wear a mask. Then predictably, the virus came back and everyone was told to put their mask back on and they had mass protests that they didn’t want to wear one they can’t be told what to do.

It’s 2 or less when you’re a bubble team. That is unless you think this team is going to regress next year. - neem55
That’s my supposition. There are so many variables right now that I feel like next years team won’t be as good as this years team even with the growth of EP & QH. I mean, it could totally be the opposite if they manage to move out bad contracts, sign their key UFA’s, upgrade the D. I just feel like it will be hard to do that, with an eye on the following year when the two stars will need new contracts.

There is going to be a lot of movement this year . Teams like Tor Ariz and St L have less than 5 mil in cap space .
I honestly think Canucks will fix the D even more this year.
Bob Mac was saying there could be a push back on the start date because the PA and NHL are trying to resolve a new CBA . Next few days should provide some answers. With a flat curve for three years we will see what the NHL come up with.

I feel like aside from Tanev and Markstrom, there aren't many big pieces they need to resign. And with both of them wanting to be here, I see them both coming back. TT wasn't here all year, so he doesn't factor in to it.
I think Marky's play next year is the biggest factor. If he cools off a little, they could very well regress – but I highly doubt they'll be in the bottom 10.

Agree & why prospects need to keep pushing for a spot. We are the point regardless of how we arrived here like many teams that cannot keep or pay everyone what is fair value. Just the next phase to navigate through on the way to being a perennial PO team.

I am telling you I would be surprised if Tanev is back unless it is a very friendly deal. I think you are going to see a trade for a 2nd RHD that is young and plays more than 50 games a year.
