Oh yeah, there’s issues that’s for sure. I think they are a playoff team next year. Tanev and marky will be back. Dead weight will be cut.

You can’t just cut the deadweight in today’s NHL with the cap what it is, it’s proven extremely difficult for Jim Benning to move any type of contracts without having to pay with extra draft picks or prospects, like Jared McCann, which this franchise cannot afford because there still a lot of building left to do.

The re-build is over. The cap is not an issue. STFU.

The prospect pool is pretty good but room to get better especially RHD & C. Agree moving out cap got even harder & more likely ride it out on most of them will happen.

They shouldn’t put the flag button so close to the quote button

I read from the Bobfather this morning that a hub city announcement could come today, but also not as they still need to sort everything else out before that...

I heard Chicago Toronto. It changes by the minute. Seeing how difficult is is to put together 8 weeks of hockey makes me wonder what next year will be. LPGA just cancelled their 2020tour today

I really do question if next years NHL will happen . I see something more along the lines of a super tournament for a month in 2020-2021 season.

Yet the NFL Raiders owner hopes for fans this season. What an asinine thought.

When I see thousands of people attending rallies , beaches , parks it is hard for me to say owners are wrong for wanting to have fans.

Most of the public are saying screw it I will take my chance. Look outside.

It is not a popular comment by me but why would an owner say no fans while 40 000 people flock to the beach , drinking and partying?

...and said beaches are now closed due to the rapid spread of Covid, so I don't think they will be opening stadiums just yet. I think most professional sports will be cancelled this year. The WHO (trigger for the anti multi-national institutions Tea Party freaks) said yesterday that the worst is yet to come.

That is good news then . My point was you can't have half the crowd following the rules and the other half ignoring them.

Now they need to shut malls ,restaurants in dining , and and public gatherings.

Much easier and safer to socially distance outside. Can keep 6 feet apart on beaches — harder when your seat is right next to someone else, and you’re lining up to get to the stadium/beer/washroom.

I get what you’re saying, but I also don’t think 40,000 people at the beach — especially in places where the virus is running rampant — is a smart idea.

All wonderful ideas but a person goes to the beach and sits six feet apart as required then goes for a brew after the beach , uses the public restroom and contracts CV19. The next night he delivers your pizza.

All good intentions. Unless everyone plays by the rules it will spread.

Fully agree. It's frustrating to see for those of us who have followed the rules.

Hastings Race Track is open but no people. Real races but only online betting.
I think it was Global that did a piece on it last night.
LPGA did the responsible thing.
