what if they get Lafrenierre? - Symba007
Then it'd be a demonstration of the stupidity of the lottery system and the Habs getting very lucky; certainly no brilliancy if Bergevin. Even if they get him though he's not really helping with the Habs biggest needs unless some trading is done. |

The trade still doesn't make sense as they didn't need an aging D with a team years away from contention.
But yeah hockey wise Shea has given more than PK even with the injuries. - MortChicken
From that time, no it doesn't but Subban's effectiveness has fallen off of a cliff, probably because he's more concerned with whatever he's at off the ice, rather than playing hockey. For all intents and purposes, Subban has "aged" faster. |

So if the season does not happen, are they gonna have a re-do of the draft lottery? - Mashadar
No
1. Let’s update what will happen if — for whatever reason — the season can’t resume/be completed. The next eight non-playoff teams are evenly split by conference, as in a regular year. That’s Montreal, the Rangers, Florida and Columbus in the Eastern Conference; Chicago, Arizona, Minnesota and Winnipeg in the West. All would have a 12.5 per cent shot at numero uno.

One player said a majority of the players do not want to return to play this summer. Estimated 75%. Though they’re concerned with financial pitfalls of that decision, they’re more concerned about risking contracting the virus/serious injury before cramming in the 2021 season
since the beginning, I didn't really care if the season was canceled or not, but now that they've been talking about it for so long I kinda hope they do play, or it'll just feel like being annoyed for a long time for absolutely nothing. |

so in this scenario, the habs keep the 12%, and they don't need to get humiliated by Pittsburgh to do so? cancel this poop already |

an anonymous player (1) says that most players do not want play based on a guess that 75% don't want to.
