I did hear something to that effect after the Matthews reports. I don't know if they gave a firm You Can't Do That or was it more of a recommendation? I know they didn't have any firm dates back then and even still don't as to when and where players will report to.

Seems like every year now a team that was just not good enough to make the playoffs ends up jumping up ahead of teams that were tire fires.

Given the way this playoffs is starting with play ins there’s a good chance that a team that was headed to the playoffs before Covid will be beat by a team who wasn’t and end up drafting first ...I mean as long as edm it Toronto doesn’t get it HB probably won’t crash....but still lol

I don’t care either. Petey had friends over playing video games in that SN special months ago when Sweden was the darling of society with their no rules policies and nobody said poop about it. The NHL and PA do not have an agreement, Jake is under no authority to stay isolated in BC as long as he isn’t breaking the law. Is he maybe breaking his social contract with teammates? Perhaps.

Sweden’s death toll is dropping every day, they are at 0% critical and the total critical is dropping ....while new cases are going up ...seems like they have figured out a way to treat it ...maybe the nhl should just go to Stockholm

I think it is ridiculous the amount of times Edm and NJ have had Lotto luck. Teams should not be rewarded for trying to lose.

In an irregular season they stuck to a lottery of 15 teams. On that alone I have no problem. How they arrived at a placeholder was due to extenuating circumstances. Sure it’s 16 team play in but financially they have to try to recoup money someway. Anyone speaking of greed has their opinion but so what. The NHL are not solely the only ppl who operate that way.

There are really only a handful of teams that are good ....then about 15-20 that are interchangeable...and then the bottom 5-6 that didn’t have a chance

I think the next few years you’ll see some true parity if the cap stays flat and there are no buyouts ...
