Theres plenty of bigger bills mistakes. Mahomes went 10th overall. Is it the other 9 teams biggest mistake ever?
Darius at 3 instead of JJ watt recently
Terrell troupe 1 pick ahead of williamsville native gronk
Rob Johnson era in general
I love allen. I think he's a top pro qb. I'm also a homer.
Likeable off field guy too.
Mahomes has one of the best offensive coaches in the league . Top wr, te and offensivein general.
Beane our gm wasnt here for the pick either.
Plus the best cb in the league was the pick. - Boss34
Yeah, I'm sorry there's no way Mahomes is the dynamo here that he is in KC. Andy Reid is an offensive wizard, McDermott is just offensive to offense. Plus the personnel, which is finally looking good, but has been woefully lacking.
Plus a fair few people thought they reached for Mahomes.

What is way to much Monahan and a 2nd for Rhino and Risto - Buff36
Sam , Risto ...
Monahan has to be the most overrated player when he leaves he will be a black whole with a different team johnny hockey made him
Go for Dylan Strome |

No, because they all didnt need QBs. It clear the Bills needed one, they evaluted them, said none were good enough. Traded back, let gillmore go, then moved up to select a QB nowhere near the level.

That is true but he's basically sam at center what has he done without Johnny hockey thats how I look at it ..
Let's say we trade for him and he becomes a 25 -25
Strome is a risk but he's ready to become the r player he wss supposed to be and he would cost less than that package maybe risto ,2nd |

It was questionable to move back up the next year.
I still believe they were aiming for 4 or 5 wins and looking at baker , darnold or allen without giving up the assets.
Gilmore basically was like ror , minus the contract and his brother being allowed to play with him.
Buffalo out.... |

I told my one buddy it was the biggest mistake this franchise has ever done. They needed a QB, they determined neither were good enough, and traded down.
The following year, they still needed a QB, traded up, and realistically they still need a QB.
I had Mayfield ranked 1st, Jackson as 2nd, darnold as 3rd, and Rosen as 4th. Allen was my 5th rated QB out of the projected 1st rounders.
Last year the bills would have had the best team in the NFL if they didnt move back during the Watson/Mahomes draft.
This is why I question Mcdermott ability to evalute. They royally messed up those two drafts. - Mentalorgasm5
For the love of God, the head coach DOES NOT make draft decisions. Beane wasn’t here yet and they were never going to let a lame duck Whaley choose a QB for the team. Perhaps we give Allen a chance, he improved dramatically in year 2. You’re number 1, Mayfield regressed dramatically with a much better supporting cast. If Allen doesn’t improve once again with the addition of Diggs and, to a lesser degree, Moss, then your argument about Allen will have substance. |

There is no room for you here.

You are scrum, a vile person.

You usually don’t leave much room with your thesis long analyses that nobody reads. We get it, you think you’re higher educated in mathematics than your GED would lead to believe. Get lost and take your thesaurus with you. |

Doesn’t have anything to do with you imo
I think there’s a big group of players that,
especially if you look,
you can find stats to convince u they’re better,
or u can find stats to convince u they’re not good
It’s the nature of analytics
Some ppl will look at numbers and say stuff like Frolik is just an “outlier” and then also say Bennett is ready to break out , or could improve in a better situation

Well if Allen keeps growing and progressing those 2 drafts might actually go down as 2 of the best for the Bill's
2017
White
Dawkins
Milano
3 pretty players all starting and playing at a high level, had Jones too but he is with Vegas, but atleast we got a few picks for him.
2018
Allen hope he keeps growing and takes that next step
Edmunds Pro Bowl MLB
Harrison Phillips
Taron Johnson
Siran Neal
Wyatt Teller depth on Oline traded for picks
Don't know what more you could want out of those draft classes, 8 players either starting,or playing significant snaps. |

Tough to say
Anderson seems like a “buy low” type worth going after
But if he looks like his old self in the playoffs, they could very well want to bring him back on a 1 year “prove it” type deal
Or it could turn into a situation where we could no longer get him at a discount
I wanna say it shouldn’t cost much to get either
But it doesn’t appear they’re in Cap trouble either,
so they could easily just keep 1 or both unless they get an offer they can’t refuse
It’s certainly worth making a call about them though |

What it sounds like to me is that trading for that pair is taking a huge costly risk. Why not take a chance on the picks made already. I am going to go on a limb and say the only moves Adams makes to start things off will be safe ones and sure things. |

interesting read on Vanek

"He went on to say that he wouldn’t be done with hockey if his time on the ice had come to an end. “...I do want to go back into the game and eventually be a [general manager]. I think that’s the one thing I’ve learned so much of being with different teams in the last six-to-seven years of my career of what really, in my eyes, works, what doesn’t work because you’ve seen it all. Some organizations are great, some are okay, some have a lot to learn. " |

His best season (statistically) was in 2010-11, when he led the Sabres with 73 points (32G, 41A).

Elliott Friedman reporting that Vanek is meeting with Kim to be the assistant gm to Adams. Vanek would also have responsibilities for the roster in Rochester and Cincy. |

I don't think i'm smarter than EVERYone. Especially not you. You were babbling about being responsible for some massive budget at Kodak. I didn't think a corporation would put that much responsibility on a janitor. Must've been in your mind when you were emptying garbage cans around the office. Just heard the best revenge is living well. Look at your comments. You'll always be a low life who never amounted to anything. |
