Well, I joined the 21st century by cutting the cord yestsrday.
I had used DirecTV for probably the last 10 years, maybe a couple more.
On a monthly basis, once you factor in the cost of the NHL and NFL packages, I was paying about $230 per month.
I signed up for month to month with HastleFree Streams (HFS) which costs $40 and another $10 for Premiere movies...so saving about $180.00 per month. Only drawback is it doesn't have recording capabilities...I'll have to figure something else for that.
The picture quality is very good and get about 4500 channels....and no more losing the sat signal when our thunderstorms roll in on a frequent basis.

I'd hate to see those numbers with a pedestrian center or number 2 center, oh heck someone not named Jack dragging him along for the ride. Nice post Boss, it shines some light on a waste of a big contract if they re-sign to a hefty and long one. They would be just spinning their wheels with Skinner and Sam sucking up cap.

I wasn't the biggest Reinhart fan (Still am not some occasions) but Jack's numbers are unanimously better across the board when Sam is on the ice with him. Obviously Jack is much better, but I think he helps Eichel more than being dragged along for the ride.

Question is how much is that worth?

OV did real well on Jack's wing and I think Reinhart and Jack are not a tandem that has to remain together for Jack to remain kicking. He was great before Reinhart and will be great after him. Jack had his best year when OV was added to the line.

If the guy is right and Cozens is the number one prospect right now then the Sabres have another blue Chip prospect top six pretty soon. If Reinhart can get them a player or two in a blockbuster deal that makes them better and deeper then they are now and no longer sending out the same crap that is losing. Reinhart and a D for some good stuff that changes the team's losing makeup.

I would guess many players, as has been said before, will be signing deals in the 2 to 3 year range, as that is when the cap ($81.5 for this coming season and next, and $83.5 for the 3rd season) will finally be going up again, in theory.

Yeah, they can't keep the same "studs" and pay them like it and expect a change in much of the record. How do they get the 2nd line center? Many coaches go with 2 solid players per line. They could go with Jack and Skinner; 2nd line center they trade for and OV, Cozens and Kuhun or Moho. The team is better already.
