Haven't had one in a while but Buona's great too. Will have to check that out. Some friends ordered a Portillo's kit and had it sent to our house for my birthday last year.

They include the bread and tell you how to prep everything. Like you said, just as good as what's at the restaurant.

My quest in Florida for Chicago Beef at home was bolstered by being able to join Restaurant Depot, do to the non profit volunteering I do, and they had different Chicago Beef packets that were larger amnutrs than the smaller Ditka Beef that Gordon Foods sells. They have various names and have Beef in spices, but a separate jar of juice.

The Buona Beef is much larger and what I use when I am serving many.

Buona Beef is a good fast food version too.

Please rethink your decision to leave because when people who play by the rules quit the game, the people who don't play by the rules win. There are plenty of us here who come here to talk hockey and are able to be inclusive of all people who want the talk hockey regardless of their political beliefs. That's the point - to participate in the common ground we share for the Hawks specifically and hockey in general. We won't find common ground in politics - so don't ruin the common ground we do share by polluting it with divisive topics.

Apologizing for the wrong doers by telling others to ignore it is in itself wrong. No one wants to go back to the days when JJ ruled with capricious authority, but allowing inappropriate behavior to continue because there are no consequences doesn't work. The wrong behavior will continue until there are consequences to pay.

To wit: the poster that started this mess is now compelled to respond because he feels personally attacked. That is the standard operating procedure for those who find solace and purpose in being a victim. The fact that they caused the problem from which they could take on the cloak of victimhood is not relevant to them.
