Hyman should have played way better with that torn ACL. Seriously, I know we don't have a ton of depth off the roster but even watching on TV I could tell something was off with him.

Marner took more of a discount with his 6y and lower AAV compared to Matthews - and somehow he's the one that is 'public enemy #1'?

So far, Marner has proven to be more effective and more valuable than Matthews - who is lagging behind in his development, and should really focus on becomign valuable in the d-zone as well.

Marner is the most important asset on this team - Tavares #2, Rielly #3, Matthews #4, Anderssen #5, and Hyman #6.

Barkov plays in Florida so no one watches him and exaggerate every flaw he has like in Toronto.

Wonder what people would say about Barkov if he was a Leaf and had never seen the platoffs.

If Barkov is so amazing how come he's yet to see the playoffs? I ask because it's held against Matthews that by age 22 he had yet to win a series.
