Any word on the specifics of and cap implications resulting from performance bonuses on Pettersson and Hughes' contracts? Given you guys are RIGHT up against the cap and their potential bonuses are pretty big, I imagine that's gotta be a concern. |

If Ferland stays healthy then it will be a good addition. Canucks have a good set of forwards and need to adjust the D . I think we have 3 D prospects that will help over the next few years but I do expect a big move for a Dman. - VANTEL
I think we are both on the same page about the trade, there is one coming. I think a team that is flush with young D (Carolina comes to mind). I think the Islanders would be willing to part with someone with Dobson coming too. There are other teams that need a forward too I am just not up to searching today. |

I was looking at them about two weeks back and very possible . Boston is another one that have a few good D.
I still wonder if Benning will look at PK Subban |

I won't disagree because it is a 50/50 chance . What though is the difference between July and January that would make it safe to start a new season? I think if you are cancelling now you are pretty well saying goodbye to next year too. - VANTEL
I think the completion of this season is eventually scrubbed and next season starting in January 2021...maybe. |

I guess I am asking why would this season be any more dangerous than next season. This year they have a hub and a bubble area to protect the players so how will flying all over the States and Canada next year be safer? We are only looking at 5 months ahead. |

I think you should be out of work for the next 5-6 months too!
Why do you think professional athletes should have to stop working while the rest of us are deemed safe to return (I personally never stopped)? Are the employers for the gift shops, dollar stores, gyms, spas and other "super essential" businesses putting their employees in a protective bubble, so they aren't exposed? How will NHL players playing hockey in a bubble affect you negatively?
If the players want to play, let them play. If there are more than 10 players that opt out of playing, I will be very surprised.

We will need to carry the 1.7 over to next season. That and Loungo recapture is essentially a top 4 dman we can't sign. |

I think this is going to be canceled because a group of team players are going to test positive and it’s going to run through the room like wild fire.
I’m hopeful a vaccine is developed by early next year. Which will make it much safer, obviously. |

TBT if we have rookies every year exceeding what is expected and it costs us a bonus payment then hallelujah . That is something that happens to the top of the rookie list.

I don’t think they should “have” to stop working, I don’t know what gave you that opinion? I’m simply saying for public health reasons they will be shutdown, or more correctly stated, they will be forced to stay shut down.
It’s about group numbers, being forced to stay down because due to too many people being in close quarters. |
