Back in the late 60s maybe early 70s not really sure my Grandparents owned a bar and one of their waitresses would sing and whenever she would finish the customers would clap which would lead my grandfather to say that they shouldn't because they'll only encourage her. That woman Cyndi Lauper. I miss my grandfather grandmother no so much

Years ago they came out with those fat-free potato chips that conained olestra. One of the side effects was that it cause anal leakage.

Back in the '90's the first ad I think we saw was for Valtrex, just someone standing on to of a mountain yelling "VALTREX!!!!!" with no description of what is was for. After a few beers and seeing the ad a few more times my buddy called the 800 number to find out what the hell it was for.
