so nothing with the actual team - homiedclown
Nope. Gil will give you the expanded history lesson but.
- leaving Darcy in place was a bad move.
- patty lala didn’t have the experience needed and ran away.
- patty brought in tim, who was highly regarded but had zero actual gm experience
- then botts who was highly regarded with no experience in the gm roll.
- now we have Adams who has less than no experience. But it’s the pegula’s “finally doing it there way” and not listening to the nhl. And saving money during the pandemic.
All they had to do was hire an actual president who had experience in the roll. That had actually run a team with some success.
Set the budget and expectations.
Sit back and enjoy.
But some how I’m the ass that expects some sort of humility and competence from ownership.

I think Homie, 89, and GR8daygo (such a quaint name) are gay (nothing wrong with that) and hate powerful women and have Zoom ménage à trois's together getting ready for the real thing where GR8 will come in for sloppy seconds. - GilPerreault11

Bringing in eichel is huge.
Period
The pegula's lost tons of money, fans, and nhl support/respect to bring him in.
He maybe the best non goalie sabre ever. Too early to tell, but trending that way |

Agreed. Probably virtually no chance but I'd love Maroon as the 4th line LW with Lazar as the extra forward. - kingcong39

Ouch, so I guess we won't be hanging out while you're band too? I think being gay makes the three of your much more renaissance men then you portray yourselves on here daily.

Mine is all physical. Yes. I loaded up on silver when it was between 13.00 and 13.50 back in March at .25 over spot. Looking like I got in really good. What do you like better at this point? I have to think platinum is going to start catching back up to gold sometime soon, might get some more soon. - TheHank
I’m thinking physical gold will hit 3500 an ounce and silver may hit 75 + an ounce some time this decade.
If you are planning on holding for the long haul. |

Simple question... When folks post that Terry and Kim were advised or talked to the NHL concerning GM or HC openings, who are they talking to??? The league office or all of the folks they are in direct competition with? Just wondering... |

It's looking like at least one, if not both of those options listed above will be available at pick 8.
Ideal:
Trading for someone like Bonino and signing another Center, giving Cozens the ability to come along slowly at wing his first season and then moving to Center in his 2nd season. - kingcong39

I think gold is over it’s sweet spot right now. There’s plenty to go around. I’d be shocked if it hit 3500. I hope it does though. Silver is the one I like the best. It’s probably 75% of my total position. If gold goes near that 3500 number silver should be way over 75 at that point. I’ll be just fine. Yes all my metals are for the really long. |

I’m talking more so long term.
I still think Gold has a shot at 2000 by the end of the year though it might be a photo finish.
Silver looks more appealing forsure in the short term.
I got loads of both. I have a portfolio of miners though. A majority of them penny stocks with low float.

I think Korab39 squashed that concept pretty nicely. - IonSabres
That was well researched and based on facts. I know people want to put blame on someone but it’s a team game. During the year the Habs fans blamed Price, the Jets fans blamed Hellabuck, the Predators blamed Rinne, the Panthers blamed Bob and there were more.
If the Sabres had to fit any of the above into their payroll it would only be hopefully less goals against but who would score. |

since Gerbe went on his rant about the Pegulas from others, I ask this question
it's really a simple question, so no need to stay off topic
in the 9 plus seasons since Terry and Kim bought the sabres, what have they done right regarding the sabres
thanks in advance for your answers - homiedclown

That doesn't give them a free pass.
Their arrogance and stubbornness to change how they operate at the top of the hockey department is insulting to this fanbase.
Because LaFontaine didn't work out, they refuse to revisit the PoHO and hire someone with ACTUAL HOCKEY KNOWLEDGE to run it.
Did they save the franchise only to ruin it, one non playoff year at a time? |

Qualifying round games will count as part of 2019-20 #StanleyCup playoff statistics. - kingcong39
I don't see why that's such a big deal. You have to put those stats somewhere and the qualifying round is an elimination round, even if it's not traditional.

If they wouldn't allow Balsillie to buy the Coyotes and put them in Hamilton there's no way the Sabres were moving. Plus, Miami/Sunrise, Raleigh, and Phoenix/Glendale still have hockey teams despite the fact that no one goes to games.
More people STILL went to Sabres games this year than went to Canes games both overall people and percentage of total occupancy despite the fact that the Sabres suck, Buffalo is marginally smaller than Raleigh, and the Canes are actually a solid team. But that still only got the Canes to 22nd in the league in average attendance and just 26th by percentage of total occupancy.

Maybe after the Rigas's were tossed in prison and the NHL took control, but once Gallysano[sic] bought the team they were staying put. |

Do you though? They're going out of their way to try and sell you that it's not the playoffs, but are treating it exactly like the playoffs. If it wasn't the playoffs then those 8 extra teams wouldn't have the chance to play for the Cup. But they do have that chance, ergo playoffs. |

I'm sure the players union wants that as much as the league does. If a player can cite his stats in that round as playoff stats in justification of a higher contract number down the road, he will. |
