Benning seems like the type who would like Risto.
Risto, Mitts, 2021 first rounder for Boeser - Pegullaville
Perhaps we add a native bc guy? |

Fwiw Vancouver under Benning have shown interest in Ristolainen in the past
Oh idk. All I know is that VAN had interest in Ristolainen last summer before signing Myers |

The native BC guy is better than Boeser and plays the same position. |

Opinions are like a$$holes, everybody has one.
75 goals in under 200 games for brock
Just over 100 goals for sambo in 400 games.
Oh, and he plays with eichel....

How good is Boeser? Serious question. - kingcong39
Similar to Reinhart (although slight edge to Reinhart) in the play driving department.
Reinhart more of a playmaker, Boeser more of a shooter.
Both are top 6 RW but neither are guys of break the bank for in terms of $$$$ on the cap |

They're not similar in play driving. Boeser's on ice impacts are mediocre. His shot used to be pretty good, but has gotten worse each season.
He'd need to shoot like Eichel to make up for the difference |

Boeser would be a good addition, we can use all the good players we can get. And he would fill a need ar 2RW. |

That's what I see too, which means the deals involving things like Montour, the 8th overall this year, and something else are ludicrous.
With Vancouver's cap issues, I bet they want a prospect and a pick. |

He would be but he's not worth overpaying for. |

I wouldn't give up the 1st for him but Risto, Mitts I would do. Funny how we had the 21st, 25th, and the 31st picks in that draft and we traded them all away. Boeser was picked at 23 that year. |

the two seasons after briere and drury left, the sabres got 90 and 91 points
and those were the "dark" days
seems dark days are not so bad after all

His defensive numbers have improved each of the past 3 years while his offensive numbers have gone the other way. |

He is pretty good, he has a hard time staying healthy, but he has basically put up the same number of Pts as Rhino in less games played since 2017. His numbers went down this year because he only played in 57 games. Still had 45pts. |

Would you rather have boser or anderson at 2RW? And you still have to find that elusive 2c... |

That's about the size of it. He plays with Pettersson, so the points will always be there.
His defensive play is surprisingly good, but if you wanted a player with mediocre on ice impacts and good defensive impacts, you'd just re-sign Girgensons (im not comparing the two just making a point about what he brings) |

if I am throwing out risto, casey and the 2021 first round pick I am getting more then boesser
probably getting more then a second line center, to be honest
I have no problem moving risto or casey for boeser
but nothing more |

i like that he isn't affraid of the "bloody nose areas" in front of, and around the net...has a great shot and can finish...
the reason i asked about d-numbers revolves around the possibility of having a mojo/skinner combo again and what it might be like to have him on the right side of that line |

I'll shorten the summary on Boeser: There's a reason he's available. |
