The shoe fits apparently? Wear it proudly.
I wear my mask. You know, to show other human beings that I care about their health.
Props on orange leader wearing one in mid july.
What are you magats gonna do now? It's such a mixed message. Too wear it not to wear a mask? Does this change things?
Ah - blame Fauci - Boss34
Plenty of blame to go around, it's not just 1 person, everybody needs to take a look in the mirror. |

Meh. I think he made a well written post that you didn’t agree with and instantly started name calling and, dare I say, bullying. It falls on deaf ears eventually.

I think the need to place blame every time something goes wrong is really childish. I prefer to move forward and find a solution, not look in the past constantly. It’s a lot more productive. |

Personally speaking, IMO baby killers are just that...murderers.
Mask defiers are misguided and self- centered, but their decision has about a 0.1% chance of causing serious harm.
Big difference
Let's be serious, the goal as stated by health care leaders like Fauci and Brux was to protect the health care system from being overrun by Covid-19 patients...to date, that hasn't happened.
Covid-19 hospitalization rates are actually lower event though the number of positive tests has increased sharply., and hospitals have not been threatened, yet.
Will they be? - IonSabres

Yeah Trump supporters are in a tough spot right now. They either have to admit their dear leader was wrong for months or he is weak and can’t stand up to the bullies in the Democratic Party and Fake News outlets. Either way Trump loses respect.
The truth is that Trump finally did the right thing and set a good example. Maybe it happened five months too late, but better late than never.
Ion - Wherever you’re getting your .1% number from, my guess is that you pulled it out of your ass, I think it’s inaccurate by a factor of ten. Either way, neither of us really know the truth. But I would contend that if doing something potentially saved just 1 out of a thousand lives, then it’s well worth the effort. I too am against abortion. I think life begins at conception and that if left alone a zygote will develop into a living breathing human being that is entitled to protection under the law the same as everyone else. However, I am not willing to ban abortion, because there are cases where the mother’s health is in danger and genetic abnormalities where I believe it’s the lesser of two evils. I think it’s merciful to abort an unconscious fetus, very early on, than have that child face a life of pain and suffering.
Side note: a very high percentage of Social Workers are pro choice because they see the lives that many children end up with and believe abortion would be a merciful alternative than that of the life of neglect and suffering that many children endure.
I don’t care what goals you believe Fauci or Brux had, or have. IMO trying to save lives is more important than hospital case loads. When did we as people stop caring about trying to not have people die needlessly?
Buffalokb - you’re so ignorant and angry that I really don’t want to respond to you. I bet you get that a lot. If you can’t figure out how being anti abortion and refusing to wear a mask is hypocritical, then I can’t help you. And what I said has nothing to do with protesters, rioters and looters. However I would say the same thing to them concerning wearing a mask. And, from what I saw, a much higher percentage of protesters, rioters and looters were wearing masks than the people at the recent Trump rallies. |

Its not that your opinion is stupid, because I do not agree with it.
Your opinion is stupid because, you were trying to equate pro choice and pro mask.
Every single time your parents think if you, they shake their heads in disgust. Every conversation they whisper, too not offend you. That's when your "often criticism " of the president would make them feel better about what went wrong.
Has trump broken them yet? Ma and pa libtards.
The Obama lovers?
🙊 - Boss34
We are small town folk so we don’t break, if we don’t like something we find ways to fix it, not throw tantrums. It’s pretty hilarious you keep going back to my comment about my parents. They are Kennedy Democrats and actually were no fans of Obama. Luckily we are family that can have civil politics discussions that lead to informative debates. They have absolutely nothing in common with the direction the left is going and realized the left has abandoned them. Once they stopped watching CNN, they realized that though they don’t agree with his antics, DT’s policies actually are pretty aligned with theirs. I doubt they will vote for him but they will not be voting for Biden. This is happening all over the country, not just my family.
So keep hoping for your mail in voting, because I will admit that if that were to happen, Biden will win and the left will take both the House and Senate, at the cost of destroying America. But hey what do us hicks know, us deplorables, you Democrat’s know what’s best for everyone, how we should all live our lives. |

No - I don’t believe the CDC makes predictions like that. Show me a source that says the CDC says not wearing a mask has a .1% chance at infecting others. I looked and don’t see anything like that from any source. |

Where a mask, don't wear a mask ... whatever (personally, I'm a mask wearer). Do whatever you want when it comes to the mask. But at the very least, if you're NOT wearing a mask...can you all please practice social distancing ?? Stop going to effing family/social/huge gatherings ? Is that too much to ask, you #@$% !?!?! Jesus H Christ - this isn't rocket science. Stay away from people ! Do not be within coughing, sneezing, or breathing distance ! It's that simple.
And don't say "that's impossible". Our family has been doing it since January. Working from home, having groceries delivered, and no family events/gatherings at all. Hell, my father died in May. We weren't allowed to have a big, church funeral or wake at the time. We had 10 people at the cemetery on Harlem ... that's it. And we all had masks on and stayed 6 feet apart. It can be done.

Masks are there to protect others from those who are infected, right? I mean that has been the message for 2 months now.
So, if the President is tested on a daily basis and through 5-1/2 months he hasn't been infected...the real danger to others is zero, right? Right.
So, now it is merely a symbolic jesture.
The proper measure is to protect those who are elderly and at higher risk due to underlying conditions. Isolate those who are sick. The rest should largely carrying as normal.
As for the .1% - check the CDC... 9% Positivity rate nationally, some areas much higher, some much lower. Then consider that 98% of those infected recover without serious issues. You are right...more like 0.18% (9% x 2%)
But, true to form, it is Trumps fault.
Saving lives is important. Is if just those from Covid-19, or other causes too?
We need to outlaw cars, trains, planes...wrap ourselves in a bubble stay inside and not see anyone.
I'm curious, are you working through this. Hopefully so. |
