Do you think that Bill Gates could develop some sort of vaccine to prevent playoff choking, and then inject it into the Leafs?
I'm assuming he would kill Gardiner in order to isolate the virus. I'm OK with that. |

I'm not entirely convinced either. It's possible that Mother Nature got a primary assist from some governmental/military entity. I don't lean towards conspiratorial thinking (never do), but this bears some consideration.
It would also be great if we could stop eating bats, pangolins, possums, wombats, lemurs, flying squirrels, or anything else that common sense should dictate as a hard NO. - GalacticStone
I'm not a conspiracy guy either but China has now pivoted to suggest that COVID-19 did not originate in the Wuhan wet market. Granted, it's hard to take anything China says without a colossal grain of salt but I have my doubts that there wasn't any "engineering" involved.
Having said that, bats are a particular brutal species per transmission of viruses. It would, indeed, be helpful for humans to avoid eating or playing with that (quite literal) (poop). |

the city installed 16 bat houses in the area behind our house, it's quite the spectacle at sunset when 8-10 of them come out to eat |

Wait, is that guy not gone at the end of the season? Why keep him around with those two young fellers looking like they are ready. |

bats are cool. There's a micro-usb device and companion app that you can get for your phone that detects ultrasonic waves and then gives you stats like approximately how many and what kind of bats are around |

We signed him for league minimum.
At that point, he's an asset. Use him if you need him, flush him down the toilet to the Marlies if you don't. |

I agree with your overall point.
But I refuse to ever acknowledge Marincin as an "Asset"

This is where the Leafs can use their financial might.
He's clearly a #6 -#9 guy.
So Leafs give him a 1-way contract, and he's happy in the press box, or on the Marlies, where he actually would make more money than in the NHL. |

Looking back, they have done this with Corrado and Harrington, probably others.
Babcock really (frank)ed Corrado over though. That wasn’t cool. |

I don’t know the song. Googled it though. Avenge sevenfold? I’ve heard of them, but can’t say that I know much of their stuff. |
