The medical law here in Florida is pretty lax. I could easily qualify for it, but the doctor visit to get the card runs about $350 out of pocket. For that kind of money I can buy an ounce of kind. I guess I need to break down and do it so I don't get burned occasionally like I did on this last batch.

I’m actually very happy with our rules on pot up here. It’s working great imo.

There seems to be very little law enforcement interested in it. I feel like it’s the honeymoon period though.

To Toronto : 20 kilos of Northern Lights hybrid, 10 ounces of wax concentrate, and 2 liters of hash oil.

It's worth it not to deal with flakey dealers. Walking into the pot store and choosing from dozens of products and paying with a debit card was pretty sweet when I was going to the illegal but tolerated dispensaries.

The day it became legal, Calgary had 4 stores opened. I went the first day to check it out.. I’ve probably been to 6 different stores in Calgary, none since I’ve been in Ontario. Seems like Ontario is hugely missing out in tax revue due to lack of stores.

I agree. Old habits die hard. I remember having to page my dealer then wait by a payphone for him to call back. Then drive to meet him in parking lot of a convenience store. All while being paranoid AF that the cops were watching and waiting to swoop in. Good times. LOL.

Lol yeah. Every time a weed dealer flaked on me I couldn't be surprised. What did I expect? For a while I had a link where I got it vacuum sealed in the mail which was the best.

True story :

Late 1980's, right after high school. A school buddy of mine (and part-time schwag dealer) worked at a local pizza chain shop called Hungry Howies. On nights when the manager was not present (and he was acting manager), he would turn the "W" on the lobby sign upside down to make a "M" - if the sign read "Hungry Homies" then weed was available to buy. You could see the sign from the street when driving by.

True story :

Couldn't find the numbers now if I wanted to... But as of last summer I remember Alberta had the most stores in the country, and had spent the most on legal pot in the country. Around 125 million to Ontario's 120.

They sell it in the government run liquor stores here. On the first day there were long lineups and of course the media was out doing interviews. What a bunch of burnouts. Nobody can tell me that weed is good for your brain.
