Thanks dude. I’m determined to get back there and that sounds fantastic.

On a hockey related note, who would be a better UFA signing- Bogo or Schenn? You saw them play last, anything left in the tank?

- Byfuglien Ate Me

Luke schenn?
Fack that.
Too slow and just not that great.

kale mixed in with mashed potatoes, a bit of vinegar + small bits of bacon.
it's one of my favorite dishes

Kale is good by adding unhealthy stuff to it.

I take a certain pride in being a guy that likes pretty much all food and I'd try just about anything once if it's considered a dish eaten by someone in the world.

However, I kinda hate kale.

I love literally every single other leafy green that is intended for human consumption, except kale.

Agreed. If I want a healthy, but not great tasting leafy green I'd go Swiss Chard.

swiss chard is awesome.

cut off stems, roll leaves and cut into thin strips, toss with lemon juice and olive oil

fry a couple of strips of bacon (or sliced pancetta) until crispy, remove from grease, and drain until only light coating of grease left

add panko, garlic and fry until golden brown, let cool and crumble in remaining bacon

toss salad with garlic bacon mixture, as well as flaked parm, romano or grana padano

my garden area is weird where I get partial sun in a couple spots in particular

would like to reserve the full sun areas for tomatoes, peppers, zucc and cuke

does chard grow well in partial shade?

Kale chips are easy to make in the oven, and tasty. I like to dip them in the guacamole.

We've got very little shade in our garden. Just whatever shade the neighbours fence provides.. Its great for tomatoes, cukes and lettuce. Our green beans seem to be thriving, which is nice. I do wish we had more strawberries and raspberries though.
