He's 28 next month and has value, if Ferland could stay healthy he's the same 20 goal guy with a similar salary plus he's way more physical...at least he was before his head went soft

Canucks are getting third line production that other teams are getting, their top six needs another scoring winger with top six production, not third line production...that's the point.

There's a reason they need a Toffoli AND a Boeser in the lineup, if they can't fix their defensive liabilities then they'd better be able to score top three in the NHL.

They will keep both. Toffoli was a player JB had been targeting for a while. Pearson might be the odd man out later if JV bumps him. But until Podz and Hogs establish themselves the top 6 is set for a couple more years.

The stands could have all been empty when the Bruins took their 2011 stroll. It only matters on the ice for them when they win. They are celebrating their achievement to each other and they will know millions are watching. The players like the parades for fan interaction but may have to wait well into 2021 for that to happen.

But sure those against hockey resuming will make light of it and call it a thingy or whatever. The players know the sacrifices they will be making and how hard it will be to get to the CUP. Now more then ever in history, the winner will be facing so many teams fully healthy and more to go through with 24 in the mix.

Probably accurate deduction. More likely the season starting in 2021 that he's projecting will have this order on the starting 12. Cap demands and all with prospect development moves/changes will happen
