This team ain’t good enough without TT, BB, CT, and JM. We need as many difference makers as possible just to make the playoff let alone compete for a cup. The fact there’s almost $18m in wasted cap space on players who don’t play to their cap hit is frustrating.

Not all JB’s fault but he’s the boss and is responsible for managing this team so has to be the one to fix it.

On Sven opting out it’s not as obvious as why with other players doing same. I think I don’t know he isn’t as driven as he claims to be an NHLer. If he’s legit then covid will keep him out of hockey for a long time yet. Signs seem to show it might be an issue into next year. His career isn’t exactly projecting up. His window wasn’t exactly open & this could be the end of his career.

That's probably closer to the truth. Getting Covid is no joke. It can lead to all sorts of organ damage and brain damage too. He's already dealt with brain issues so maybe there is concern there. The family stuff sounds like more of a noble cover. With quarantine and testing before and after return would be enough to shield your family. In the mean time the family has to live in the world doing their own precautions.
