I was really hoping they would deal with the NCAA issue in the new cap. It's really been a glaring issue and it will only get bigger considering that more and more players are going that route over junior.

I personally think the rumour will turn out to be nothing, but if they are considering it, I can't see how that plays well to anyone. Boeser is one of the pieces people point to when it comes to the quality of JBs drafting, if he doesn't get a monster return that pays off immediately the optics are bad.

More like zero lobbying power. Nothing in this CBA really helps out Canucks. No relief on cap recapture though other teams will get a break, losing chance of consolation shot at 1OA; Flat cap makes UFA's harder to keep and RFA's taking bridge deals instead of locked up long term; and NCAA draft picks still get to walk.
