Governments told people it’s safe to go to bars and restaurants. Your really expect a bunch of 20 year to research reasons why it’s not safe when every hormone in their body is telling them to get out of the house.

And who’s getting sick? Hispanic farm workers in Florida and California and Arizona. Meat packing workers. Bus drivers, garbage workers.

Extra players on Tampa's bubble roster include : Gemel Smith and Witowski, basically big pylons who can fight or play rough. Combined with Coburn, Paquette, Schenn, and Maroon, nobody is going to bully these guys this time around. Gourde and Joseph are scrappy also.

I really feel for those poor Americans right now. They were literally told by their governments that it was ok to go out to the bars or restaurants or beaches. Who the (frank) wears a mask at a bar when the government tells you you don’t have to and you’re getting hammered.

At this point, we really need to stop blanketing the US as one. It’s not. The northeast is pretty much it’s own country. The south is an absolute poop show. We’ve pretty much ignored everything the federal government has said and have deferred to our own state leaders and common sense. I haven’t been to a bar or out at all (other than necessities) since March 12th and I’m 28.

The numbers seem to support this. NYC was hammered at the start due to the fact that its one of the biggest travel hubs in the world in addition to the concentration of people. There remains a misconception though, that youth and good health makes an individual invincible to covid.

I do wonder how many people believe this, but at least in my circles it’s not taken that way. Have you seen those covid parties? Talk about stupidity. They have one positive person at the party and see how many people get infected. I was talking to my mom today and she was saying how someone from one of those died and was 23. I feel bad. I get it was dumb, but he wasn’t given any direction, let alone good direction, from his own government. It’s a shame, really.

Oh I agree that it could and I’m pretty pissed about it. I really wish the people in the south would stay the (frank) where they are. In Massachusetts and the tri-state area you have to quarantine for 2 weeks when you enter the state and they are trying to actively enforce it, but of course there will be people that come here and ignore our request and (frank) us over.

I agree. My son is 26 and has taken this very seriously. Is still only visiting friends with distancing even though numbers are low. They are going camping and decided to all get tested first.

That’s the problem when the federal government abdicates its responsibilities. It’s really hard to enforce inter-state quarantines with so many points of entry.

Thanks. I think his whole group of friends have been that way. He’s also a bit medically cautious anyway. I didn’t see him from Christmas till June.

Anyway, I’m pretty jacked up for these playoffs. I know there are a lot of ‘mehs’ in here, but I’m polar opposite. I love the scheduling for the qualifying rounds. I’m contemplating taking that week off. I have about 4 weeks of vacation left and I don’t see myself going anywhere. It seems as good of an excuse as any to park it on the couch and run the smoker day in and day out
