I can totally understand players opting out.
That being said I’m not in the overly concerned camp in regards to the wuhan virus.
I don’t trust the WHO or CDC. There are plenty of reputable doctors who have been vocal about taking precautions but no need to crash national economies.
Going out protesting, burning down cities, attending spring breaks, or going grocery shopping then visiting gramma isnt a smart idea.
This sucks for marginal players because let’s face it they won’t get the same leeway as bonafide roster players.
One can only hope the world will be smarter from this but sadly I’m not so optimistic.
Far to many people who have influence look to profit from issues such as the Wuhan virus.
On one hand I’m looking forward to seeing hockey on the other hand it’s summer and it doesn’t seem right.
Not going to lie, as a. Flyers fan and the Flyers win the cup this year it’s not going to feel the same for me.

I'm 29 and I had covid. Was nothing more than a cold that knocked me on my ass for a week.
I still cant go to the gym but I can protest with 40k people IF diblasio agrees with the cause
I dont judge amy player who sits out, family is everything in this life. I will judge that both hub cities are in canada. - Flexingtheshaft
Yeah... where we have 220 cases per day reported... I would totally judge that. 62,000 is a bigger number for sure, and bigger is better, right?!? |

Absolutely!
Instead the NHL wants to rush to get a glorified tournament together and hurt the future of the game. Is next season getting delayed to fit the tournament in? Ok, I have no interest in next year either then.

Yep, and we all will, the whole point is why not just chalk this season up to what equates to a lock out season and start next FULL season on time?... |
