He's saying if the NHL coming back fails the whole world is doomed.

Wasn’t Orlando the hub city for a few of those leagues? Now that’s truly Mickey Mouse.

Walked into that one 😂😂👍

im not quite sure what you mean.

business's are reopening and taking preventative measures that adhere to the provincial health authority guidelines (6 feet social distancing, plexi glass where 6 feet doesn't allow, masks required, sanitizer everywhere, directional aisles, closed booths/outdoor dining/takeout options, "touchless" transactions/deliveries etc). So as businesses re-open, people are doing their parts to keep the curve down. Where it plays different in contact sports is that these rules are essentially broken all over the place due to the nature of the sport. Do we take hitting out of hockey? Do we require players to wear masks? Do we ask for extended benches so players have 6 feet between them? Do they only allow a certain amount of players in the dressing rooms at a time?. It's just hard for me to compare the risks/reward of a game being played with loose restrictions VS giving society their livelihood back by allowing them to go back to work while adhering to the restrictions and preventative measures in place.

I think people treated it as a good hypothetical idea to base a discussion on. There might of been one or two emotional posters who took as fact but they were chased away.

Can we all not bury the hatchet & leave what was (cannot use ‘is’)in the past in the past. It has no place & serves no purpose. Even jesting & reviving it is just as bad.

masks, hand sanitizing stations and hand washing are all preventative measures that businesses are trying to uphold as we slowly re-open. Vintsy touched up on how his business has tackled the pandemic so he would be a good person to talk to.

It is so hard for the NHL, or any sport for that matter, to maintain the same standard that our health care professionals are putting in place to keep us and everyone safe, especially when comparing it to 99.9% of the businesses out there that have taken the necessary steps and precautions to keep customers/employees safe.

Maybe you should have cared before people had enough pf your friends pushing people away from Carols blogs. I could add more names to Vantels list of people who are fed up or have been chased away. She deserves better than that.

I have absolutely no intention of getting into a back and forth with you and your perceptions.

On Boeser not the Sekeres bull crap...

He’s a sniper type RW which are not many
He’s on a good contract.
He would fetch a very good return.
If a trade asset there’s many ways to go about it. I don’t equate it into simply a cap move it’s much more than that. Chances are he is staying put for a long time imo. Top 6 Wingers we look very good at at present. Resign TT & Top 6 is locked up for years. He & Miller play both sides making Pearson at risk if Hoagie comes in & roots himself in the top 6. That isn’t likely imminent but is a possibility in the near future. JV also plays either wing further creating more depth Pod is looking to be top 6 or break in top 9 playing with Gaudette if the roster can stay intact. That all means we look pretty kick ass for scoring & hard to find any team as deep other than maybe TB.

Having Petey Bo & Gaudette as C’s has the future looking good for many years.

Winger depth & prospects very good to go with that. Versatility positionally included makes for many options that any team would want.

It’s amazing that there are some team blogs that have been on this site for days and only have 4 posts. Some have 11. Those are American team sites but goes to show how much hockey is on the minds of folks down south.

I’m really cheering for Gaudette. I like that kids style. Does kind of remind me of Kesler-lite.

Luv the kid. Humble & bright potential. A 3C that can maybe be the best we’ve ever had &/or in the league. Big bonus 👍

Best 3rd line centre? Better than Trevor Linden? Bo Horvat? I don’t think so.

I like him but slow down. The kid has some talent but he is far from the defensive player he has to be to be classified as one of the best 3c in the league or better than any we've had. Kesler was a great 3rd C and I doubt he'll be better than Bo.

My compulsive nature rises it’s ugly head...

Potential lines given who is here & a prospect.

Miller Petey Boeser
TT Bo Podkolzin
Hoglander Gaudette JV

Assuming Pearson traded or walks as a UFA. Nothing against him I actually think he got better here than he ever was. A valuable asset if JB goes there.

MacE is awesome in the bottom 3 if others make it so. He can also move up if injuries the way he has improved & developed.

Ferland is not a problem. Healthy he is a good fit. Retires then sorry for him but we can absorb the loss. Healthy & fully recovered means more assets for fixing the D.

The D pipeline looks solid. Only missing a top 2 RHD for when Tanev is gone. We get lucky if it’s Woo or draft/trade for a stud then you know what’s next...

Plan the parade 😂😂🍺

The infection rate is out of control in some areas. Scary out of control. 99% will recover but the long term effects will be devastating. It really is a shame.

No but with Petey & Bo ahead of him it’s pretty exciting.

Gradin Sundstrom back in the day was impressive.

Linden Ronning Craven was pretty darn good.

Sedin Kesler was dynamic
