When John Tortorella was asked today about the language that could be picked up by the on-ice mics:

Be tough as we're so overloaded at forward as it is. - VanHockeyGuy
I agree – he's just one of the better cheaper players we have. More than likely forced out, especially if they resign TT |

I want TT resigned & Marky. Tanev too but lots needed done to do it. Tanev is important for what we need. Marky is a must. Makes it look like TT is odd man out.
Strange & difficult times.
I really like our top 6 & want it to come back.
Miller Petey Boeser
Pearson Bo TT good trio for top line match ups
Chances are high Pearson walks next year for a kid to move up if earned & cap space.
Hoglander or JV might be Bo’s LW.
Bottom 6 has Gaudette & JV 3rd line. Contracts & too many possible bodies for the remaining spots. Leivo easily deserves a spot but lots of contracts out needed. MacE is deserving as well. |

Hey VHG, Vantel is free and is more than welcome to participate. I posted this in the last blog to your post
You are correct that he is a good guy, he does bring a lot of discussion to the site.
I personally think that people shouldn't overreact to any post by an anonymous person, (Lefty is good at this, takes quite a beating at times and laughs it off) saying that, of course we have guidelines on what is acceptable and what isn't.
When things get so far out of hand that i receive 3 requests to step in on the personal attacks, then it is getting out of control. I could ban everyone involved or threaten to lock down the blog (this is not fair to Carol)
This is Carols blog, her lively hood, and we should respect that 1st and foremost. People can take their person beefs to the private messages or take it to the public forums (not secret membership only) where everyone is welcome to discuss topics other than hockey. I repeat everyone is welcome. |

Yes & keep politics or other topics not worthy of being in here. Stick to hockey & other stuff that is generally acceptable. |

I don't blame Tryamkin one bit on signing a one year deal in Russia. Guy has to make some money with everything else in limbo all around the globe. |

Absolutely. Most of us have been here a long time, hopefully with the increased hockey activity this crap will go away. I'm not going to participate in any drama here.

Depth charts..
Center: Petey / Bo / Gaud / Beagle / Sutter
RW: TT* / Boeser / JV / LE / ZacMac /
LW: JTM / Pearson / Rousell / Ferland / Leivo / Motte
That's a lot of people. Some of those guys play both wings... So if TT resigns, and you get rid of LE somehow, and Rousell + Sutter for cap space.. you can keep Leivo for one year
That's not even including Podk and Hoglander who are knocking on the door next next year. |

Sorry about harping on Boeser & his role.
As i get more familiar with adding analytics to my thought process he just doesn’t fit into the role that Bo’s line gets. Other side of the coin is TT fit in so seamlessly on the top line & his production was great it gives Bo a scoring winger at the cost of D to shut down Ops top line. I constantly come back to reuniting the lotto line for balance I believe needed for the PO’s. Green seems to be convinced otherwise & wants a more run & gun 2 line look. Leaves it to the 4th line to hold their own & out play Ops. That can happen I hope. 3rd line will get sheltered minutes still which is ok I guess. In time Gaudette & his wingers can push their case & if they do then 3 lines deep is a great look. |

The depth is very good too bad this covid set back has gummed up the works. Gonna be a big offseason for JB & company |

Podkolzen will take over the roll on the second line . He is a good two way player just give it time. |
