haha just about! It's probably 4 months from now. So so far away. At least the draft will break it up in 2 months. such a big draft. such a big playoff with that AZ pick.

really think Seattle should've stuck with green and blue, like all their other teams. I googled Seattle hockey and found some examples of this from other teams in the state... really a sharp look, and it's always cool when cities keep the same colors for their teams, like Pittsburgh and NYR/NY Giants. At first I liked the new original colors and design, but when I saw darker blue/green examples, it just pales in comparison. Seattle Seahawks colors on a hockey jersey would be sick.

Same colors as the Seahawks and Mariners makes sense. They could throw out a 3rd jersey at any point, it could easily be neon green.

more Mariners than Seahawks. It's missing that awesome green. What a statement that would be to have that thrown in there, maybe instead of the red accent, have the green accent.. or have the green be the 2nd most color outside of the blue. Idk. It would just give it more pop. The blue and green combos I've seen look really good. This looks OK tho.

Todd gave us Rossi, Holtz, and Drysdale.. he needs to gift us with another post on Perfetti, Raymond and Sanderson

then another on Lundell, Quinn and Mercer.
.. then another on Jarvis, Schneider and Guhle
.. then one with Zary, Holloway, Lapierre
.. then with Gunler, Amirov and Perreault
.. finally finishing with Reichel, Peterka and Greig

that should be about the top 21-ish. I don't really care about Askarov. He's a great goalie, and we pray whoever takes him between our 7th and AZs pick.

Maybe we will get someone even better. As much as I hate the Flyers Meltzer is one of the best bloggers I have seen. He really does a great job, and the few times when I may or may not have had too many beers and went in there to troll after Gudas killed someone, he gave me a smack down. It was great

Heard Dougie Hamilton is hurt for Carolina and Pesce is out also. So looks like Sami Vats should be getting some game action. Not sure if it will matter toward the pick or not... I have a feeling that will be headed to arbitration.

One day we hire Lindy Ruff. The next day Todd rides off into the sunset. Coincidence? Probably not considering he's still doing the Flames Blog. He's just had it with this train wreck of a team. Can't say I blame him.

I dont think you're being a debbie downer at all, i think you're just being realistic. He's a fine prospect and could be good for us eventually but a lot of people are over-hyping him and acting like he's a guaranteed guy to slot into our top 4 in the next year or two when thats not the case at all. He will likely need 2 or more years in the AHL and even then theres no guarantee he makes the jump to the NHL after that. People just need to temper their expectations on him. I still think if we waited til the deadline to move Hall we could've gotten a better prospect out of it, but it is what it is

For sure. Takes the big boys a little time to adjust to the speed of the NHL. I strongly believe he is not ready for the NHL right now. Just look at Chara. His first 4 seasons with the Isles were a joke. I think Bahl could be a major asset to this club, but in due time. Hopefully he can play a large role in Bing, and we will have a better understanding where he is in terms of development.
